"The current Ellie storyline will reach a climax over Christmas when Ellie Mills attempts suicide. It all becomes too much for her when on Christmas Eve her mum Sally orders her to stay away from the family celebrations on Christmas day. Despite Ellie’s pleas Sally won't be swayed and tells Ellie she made her choice when she lied in court to protect her murderous husband and landed her own brother in jail and therefore is no longer a part of the Hunter family. She also viciously adds she wishes Ellie had died up on the roof with Toby.

Ellie goes to find sanctuary at the Deans, not realising Steph is the one who has been making her life a misery carrying out a hateful series of revenge attacks which have seen Steph send Ellie poison pen letters, dead pigeons and more seriously drugging an unsuspecting Ellie. An argument errupts leading to Steph confessing all she has done. Ellie flees and in an act of desperation attempts to take her own life as she feels she has nothing left to live for. Luckily she gets found and is taken to hospital, but it is uncertain whether or not she pulls through, but apparently there is going to be a lot of guilt and finger pointing amongst the Hunters leading to the departure of a key family member."

It's bad enough the storyline has been dragged out this long...but pleaseeeeeeeeeeee no more. I really don' think that ANYONE will care by the time she commits suicide.

I am also confused, as apparently in the spoilers Steph admits that she has been stalking, being mean to Ellie in just a couple of weeks.

Just like Sally I too wish Ellie had died with Toby. At least then we'd have had a happy ending.
Ok thats mean but really this has been going on for way way way too long now. Its time to stop.

Well at least Sally and Les are going to leave at the start of next year - the same can't be said about Ellie and why doesn't the stupid bint change her surname back to Hunter - "ji i'm Ellie Mills - you know wife of dead serial killer Toby" - talk about being stupid or what.

What about last night when she found out she had been un-enrolled at college?? Anyone else would have said they didn't write the letter, but instead Ellie says nothing. I agree she should change her name back to Hunter

The serial killer storyline has ruined the character of Ellie in a way that only Mersey TV is able.

It was the same with Nikki Shadwick from Brookside after her rape, and also Hollyoaks's Beth Morgan after her rape.

We all know that Mersey TV likes to drag things out, but this serial killer stuff is utterly boring.

Ellie had so much potential when she first arrived, and I absolutely loved it when she was missing, and then turned up - it was realistic. Now things have gone all of of proportion and the only thing that Ellie does is moan on and on about how "Toby ruined my life" or "What about me, I married a serial killer" :yawn:

the member of the Hunter family who will go at Christmas is mum Sally, who gets beaten up and left for dead after a one night stand - i wouldnt imagine the Deans will take too kindly to Ellie turning up on their doorstep on xmas eve - daughter Debbie will be killed in a hit and run just days earlier...

I loved Ellie before they ruined her. She was great with Ben, they made a really good couple and she was great in those kind of scenes. They could have totally done a love quadrangle with Ellie, Ben, Izzy and Scott.

I really hope that Hollyoaks don't intend to kill of both Sally and Debbie because Dan will be fcuked and Lisa will probably start self-harming again. Plus both the Deans and Hunters will messed up even further because Ellie will be in her little coma and Steph could be facing a murder charge - it's just plain stupid.

I really think i'm finished with Hollyoaks for good - ridiculous or what !!!

Sally doesnt die - she survives after a passer-by finds her unconscious - but Debbie will die after being hit in car driven by none other than Max Cunningham - i think the Hunters have run their course now - get rid of the lot of them - especially the pathetic Ellie!

How can you say that Lisa, Lee and Sally Hunter are amoung the small handful of people who can actually act on the show.

and the actress who plays Lisa Hunter is probably the best actor on the whole show.

im not saying they cant act - im saying they have run out of steam - their characters have nowhere left to go!

that is true but thats because over the last 3 years they have had the most intense storylines.

yeah but not only that - their storylines have been dragged out unnecessarily - like the murder storyline which started off as gripping and has now become tedious and cringeworthy - i actually think sally, les, lisa and lee are great characters and are played by good actors but dan and ellie are obsolete now - get rid!

Apparently Lisa does start self harming again after her boyfriend Callum (Ben's firefighter friend) cheats on her with that girl from the new family Nicola?? Nicole?? Someone on the forum of the official site said that one...... It was also said on there that Jodi Albert was reported to have said in Ok magazine that she had just signed another contract for another year.

I like the Elizabeth Taylor joke, she mentionned it herself once.
This week Hollyoaks has been great so far so it's definitely on the up.

I wish the Ellie story would end- it has been interesting to see but now I would much rather see Ellie getting on with her life and having fun again, her family forgiving her.

I always smile when people criticise Hollyoaks as they would something like EE or Corrie; when Ali Bastian (Becca) is showing off her legs, who cares about the plots?

As for Ellie...

I can't wait until she goes. Hollyoaks may be some kind of weird cross between soap, farce, and leerfest, but most of the cast are decent actors. Sarah Baxendale is crap; her attempts at acting are one of the funniest things in the show atm.

I tape the show because I work nights and it's a good thing because her character is terrible.I have fast forwarded the majority of any scene with her for about a year.I actually liked the Psycho Toby twist but was glad when they pulled the plug on his character because they took it as far as they could go.But they have dragged this Ellie nonsense through the plausibilty sewer and back again.And it doesn't show much sign of stopping,sadly.She makes the next dumbest blonde on earth look like a rocket scientist and she has no charisma whatsoever.It's impossible to tell what emotion she is supposed to be experiencing because she always has the same blank facial expression and monotonous,robotic voice.How even the most gullible viewer could have any interest in this continuing claptrap is beyond my comprehension.

If they don't stop this ridiculous storyline soon,I am going to climb onto the balcony at Buckingham Palce wearing a blonde wig and a short skirt and demand that they do so for the good of this country!

Agree with the last post. Have no sympathy with Ellie. She's a dopey cow and they should get rid of her. All her self pitying crap makes me want to kick her ass!!!!!!!
