... I have to say I agree with Moleymo ... I am an Aaron fan, an irregular member of this thread, and I have encountered problems with other Aaron fans out in the "real world" ... I was critical of something Aaron had said in the middle of a "winegate" discussion with another poster, and a couple of Aaron worshipers felt the need to butt in question my motives, and lay the blame for Aaron's mistake at every other housemate they could put in the frame ...
... these posters didn't seem to understand that while I would call myself an Aaron fan I can also find fault with him on occasion ... and because they'd failed to read the entire discussion and only came in at the tail end they took one of my posts out of context and it mushroomed from there, both posters really didn't want to hear my side of the story, and seemed adamant that I was an Aaron hater ...
... while I don't think they were abusive in their manner, I did feel really put upon, and could easily see how other forum members could be under the impression that Aaron fans are causing trouble in the forum. I'm well aware of the fact that it's not all Aaron fans (especially given that I am one myself) but as this forum has no avatars or signatures it's really easy to lump us all together into a group and assume that anyone liking Aaron thinks in a particular way ...
Very glad Aaron got the most votes this evening ... gives him another week or three to show the world how sweet and lovely he is, and gives us Aaron fans another week or three to show the forum that we can like Aaron without causing problems for the forum in general ...
... as a TripleJ fan last year I couldn't go out into the main forum as even though I had never gotten into arguments or caused trouble, everybody was (and still is!) dissing JJJ fans in pretty much every thread as a result of the issues that a minority of their fans had caused ...

I've been away in the wilds of the countryside with no access to any technology (apart from texts from son #2) and have almost finished watching this week's footage.
So glad Aaron is still there - but not sure that we can bank on a nomination free week for him

It happens every year, it's nothing new....and I am not changing how I am because of anything that some over zealous fans may do, or the opinion of some that don't like the popularity of an HM.
Some of my favourite HMs, and ones I have argued for and supported through thick and thin have been Michelle Bass, Nikki Graham, Chanele and Ziggy (I was menopausal I think), Rex, Marcus....you name them, I've been under pressure to keep my opinion to myself most years....

PS I know some peeps may be fed up with Aaron fans 'worshiping him' but I certainly don't, just find him the most entertaining and he keeps me watching! That being said, I ain't afraid to say if he's been wrong...which I have.

What did Faye say to Aaron just then?. He looked surprised/bewildered by it....some of of them were expecting a new HM it seems.

Well said Kewpee! We're all entitled to express our opinions, and because we're individuals we view the HMs differently.
There have been ridiculous fan wars on the threads in the past, but I've never lumped all supporters of a particular HM together - some I felt made valid points, others not so much!
Our differences are what makes life interesting surely - and it's always a good plan to reserve the right to change your mind. I find
