Aaron was poking fun at himself - she was poking fun at Aaron. There is a difference imho.

Aaron will only take it so far and then she will be off his list - pretty much like he has done with tom.

Well he was making a joke re: the situation- just a bit of lightheartedness. I didn't hear the context Faye said that comment in, but she does seem to be very up and down with Aaron. That's just the impression I get.

I have had the impression that he likes her more than she likes him. The jury is still out with her IMO but I just hope she doesn't mess him around and vice versa.

Tonight I was hoping that 1. Aaron would stay and 2. He would show a reaction to the realisation that he is very popular.
The first time he was saved (1st eviction), he just nodded as if to say "that's about right". I am sure that he would have felt glad to be the one who got the most votes then as well, but this time it seems to have had an impact.

He's not afraid to show his feelings and I like that, and I understand that he had prepared himself to go and so probably felt a bit disappointed not to see his son.
his behaviour this week suggests that he has been feeling vulnerable and seeking comfort from the girls.
It's a shame that they are just playing games with him and even making fun of him.
I think there's a lot more to come from Aaron - glad he's still there!

I guess I just have a thick skin, been here nine years, and was on Freeserve before that, you get to roll with the punches after a while.

I rarely if ever, start a thread.

I started two last year, one sunk without trace in two minutes flat, and the other was a WHATMer thread and two other people started one at the same time.

I suppose what I'm trying to say is, it's about knowing what you can and what you can't, what you will and what you won't put up with. If a thread goes bad, and a lot do, I just don't post in it again, there's no rule says you have to.

Some threads I don't bother with at all, I can see I'm on a hiding to nothing just reading the title.

Reasoned debate is interesting, and a frank exchange of views can take place without offence being caused or taken.

You also have to accept that some FMs will just never ever change their views of HMs - and this almost always says more about the FM than it does about the HM in question.

Then there are the pure baiting threads, and it pays to steer clear of them too

Faye reminds me of Josie last year , one minute i like her then next minute she would say something that would really annoy me .

I usually stay away from the contentious threads as well ... just no point annoying myself! ... and boy, good luck starting a WHATM thread without following the right protocol, they can be brutal with just two, can't imagine what was said about three! ... ooops! ... I was having a slightly loopy moment the other night, and I think I managed to start two threads in a matter of 5 mins ... very unusual for me, I'm normally religious about finding an old topical thread to bump instead of cluttering the forum with new ones!

I think I'm only really annoyed about the burgeoning Aaron Fan hatred as it seems there's an insane amount of JJJ fan hatred out there still, especially given that it's been well over a year ... guess what I really need to do is avoid conversing with those posters who feel the need to lump us all together and fail to realise that we're all individuals ... I was an Aisleyne fan too ... that was fun! ... *grins*
