Thats true dan, it ain't pure flat, should of mentioned the specs.
So far, there has been no problems at all, i find the tv excellent, well worth the money. When i bought the TV there were 'New' stickers on the box and shelf in the shop. I'm thinking that maybe this is a 2nd version - which is why so far i've had/noticed no problems.
Specs:
2x 21-pin scarts, AV1 is RGB only as far as i can tell. There is 2x RCA (red, yellow, white) sockets on the tv. 1 at the back, for permanent connection, 1 on the side for removable device(s) - such as camcorder. Also has an earphone socket on the side.
There are menu buttons, on the side - which can be child-locked.
There are multiple AV channels, each connection has its own channel. AV1, AV2, F-AV (front/side av, ex camcorder), B-AV (back av), there is also a s-vhs channel.
100 channels can be programmed into the tv. The tv itself has what is known as a hypertuner, recieves VHF1, VHF3 & UHF.
10W per speaker, and 50Hz

However, there is currently a flat screen tevion (or is it medion) tv in aldi for £200. I was going to get this, but was shut on a sunday.
