Texting abroad on Orange

I have had a contract with Orange for a year now paying £35/month for the iphone package, which contains 400 minutes, unlimited texts, and 750mb internet as well as some other features.

I recieved a loyalty reward the other day for being with them a year now and i chose the option for £15 credit, out of so many picture messages or minutes as i have them included in my plan already..

My girlfriend flown out to Spain tonight and i looked up the cost of sending text messages which works out 20.5p per text to Spain if im looking correctly.

Now to the actual question...I would just liked to know if the extra costs of texting abroad would be taken out of the loyalty credit i got given, it's just sitting there doing nothing as i never go over any of the bundles on my plan and it expires in march.

It's not a huge problem but it would be fantastic if thats where the charge of the texts would be taken from. Anyone have any info on this??

Are you texting a UK number, if so it wont cost you anything other than whats in your bundle, so in your case it will be free

Just checked my bill and seen that the texts i have sent are listed as £0.00 so you're right, thanks very much
