lol yes, a few kisses and the world's about to end
![]() It's funny how the tables are turned in the house over this situation. Normally the man would be cheered for kissing the prettiest girl, the girl would be vilified and up for eviction but - because the news of the kiss was spread by a bloke that intended to make a pass at Maisy on her birthday and now feels thwarted, the roles are reversed, the boys are gossiping away and acting like prigs, and it's the bloke who is up for eviction! And who said BB wasn't a sociology experiment anymore? ![]() Really dislike that Anton I think he made it out to be more than it probably was.

We kind of hung around waiting to give you a high-five for the first post....but you weren't here. Then you show up after we have put away our party hats and gone home.
I hope you are MMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm ing away right now and getting some needed sleep. Ok I know this is of absolutely no interest to anyone here but I'll add it anyway.....I'm not sure that my football players are quite the twinkletoes you envision. But they won....it was ugly....but our QB played TOUGH with his broken ribs and punctured lung. ![]() My DWTS faves for now; Chynna Phillips, JR Martinez, Ricki Lake, Hope Solo. Grudgingly Kristin Cavallari & Rob Kardasian are doing very well. I have rambled past the word limit a time or two myself. Useless, random fact....Here is my new sig line ![]() Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but they are not entitled to their own facts ~ Daniel Patrick Moynihan and probably others And our equivalent Strictly Come Dancing which starts Saturday. I recognise some of the names you've mentioned. But who are JR Martinez and Hope Solo? Who else is taking part? I know what you mean about Kristen Cavallari. Shop badly in need of a coat of paint, and everything for sale so expensive. $10 for a small bottle of water.

Just been reading back to the end of the last thread. Wow, another new thread - it was a bit of while coming, this one. Sorry, Stephy, you missed the boat.
![]() Well done, Annie. First post for the first time - that's eluded me forever. ![]() Just bringing this song over from the last thread - the Bonnie Raitt song Joyce mentioned - this is a link to Adele singing it. I know it's sad but it's a beautiful, beautiful song. I think maybe we can all identify with the words in relation to someone in our lives at sometime or other. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLfWP...eature=related Message from Ali re my back: Thank you - haha - the irony of giving me good advice in a PM about it while at the same time telling me to get off my lappy Have got a doctor's appointment this morning - couldn't believe it - usually have to book your illnesses at least 2 weeks in advance. ![]() Other thoughts on the night talk: Annie The advice from the sleep clinic is obviously doing you no good at all You obviously didn't tell them about the JJJAT at all - AT ALL ![]() Re: boys and girls in BB. Haven't a clue about what has been going on in BB - only enjoy reading the snippets you all bring over from time to time - some more than others LOL. But a story from daughter who, as you know, has just started uni. She has been making loads of friends, mostly guys, because as I said she gets on much better with them because she knows where she is with them, even if she doesn't always like the knowing. Yesterday she told me a story about a guy at uni: her initial comment - he's being such a girl and I'm being such a guy ![]() He was just one of a crowd of people she's friends with but he obviously liked her but she didn't encourage him. He wanted her to go out with him one evening but she'd already arranged to meet up with a couple and have a quiet evening watching a DVD with them and wanted to continue not encouraging him. He immediately assumed she was lying and was going out with another guy, went out, got drunk, kissed another girl, texted her endlessly through the night, saying he was sorry, he hadn't meant to do it etc etc. And she is, like And now other guys who she's become friends with in this crowd - just mate friends - are saying she's being unfaithful to him - even though she WAS watching a DVD with a couple - a girl and a guy - and a relationship wasn't even a twinkle in her eye or even planned to be. Oh, the dramas, the dramas. He was texting her saying how sorry he was that he'd messed things up, blah, blah, blah. Sorry for filling up post space with this but after reading about BB in the night, I thought this was interesting. The stereotypes are breaking down and have been for a long time. Or maybe it just goes to prove that there really are no stereotypical guys and gals - they are just individual human beings with their own wants and needs, their own perspectives on life, their own ways of dealing with life's challenges.

I see Annie's been trying out her sleep therapies on you. This sleeplessness seems to be spreading. See Carole was up in the night too. Barbara may soon be getting more company in the evening. I think I was so tired last night I slept most of it. Thank goodness.

I think this Indian summer is going to take a few days to reach Bonnie Scotland. Although it is quite nice today, quite breezy but no rain so far, defying the weathermans forecast. That's probably jinxed it now though. ![]() Would say enjoy your shopping, but I hate food shopping. Don't mind the other kind at all. See you later.

Nat, take care. If it doesn't get better soon, you'd better go back and get some antibiotics in case it gets infected. Swilling with salty water usually does the trick. Hope you get some sleep, CS
