Does Blackberry currently support Flash????

Hello,

A simple question really, there is a little debate on my FB currently as to whether Blackberry currently supports Flash. I have said it doesn't at the moment whilst the other person suggests it does. My Torch does not support it.

So can someone please clarify this once and for all...and out us out of our misery.

My Bold 9780 certainly does not support Flash. I can't say whether the new phones (e.g. 9900) do though.

The PlayBook has Flash http://www.gsmarena.com/blackberry_playbook-3830.php but I can't say about the handsets.

The Bold 9900 doesn't have Flash though according to this link; http://www.gsmarena.com/blackberry_b..._9900-3116.php

The Playbook is not running the same OS as a BlackBerry phone. BB phones are Java based. The Playbook OS is QNX based, so something that runs on the Playbook wouldn't work on the phones.

The answer is no.

Though next year it seems all their phones that'll be released will go to QNX so things are likely to change.

Blackberry said my new device (Torch) would support flash. A year on, I'm still waiting...
