The above simply underlines the biased position I referred to and does not addess any real issues.
It's a vary blinkered 3 supportive view which most on this forum now clearly recognise. Several people private message me on here to talk about your posts. We've been through this before, nobody minds opinion, but you take it to another level. Generally when I post I post some figures or an article or help the discussion, you are destructive and just have an agenda / vendetta to pursue. |

Except everything everywhere.
Anyway back to 3 UK and the warning by it's CEO that it might not be able to cope with the demand on data they are creating ..... so buyers should beware and remember 3 has an agenda to create an issue about bandwith now. For smartphone buyers it should be remembered that a bargain is not a bargain if you can't make use of it. |

But they are still two networks presently. 02 and Vodafone might have more 3G bandwidth now, certainly more robust 3G bandwidth at 900Mhz.

A bargain is not a bargain if you can't use it. If O2 and Vodafone don't continue to deliberately delay 4G auctions then there won't be an issue as the CEO is simply pointing out that in 2012 there may be capacity issues. Presumably this will hit T-mobile and Orange just as much too. |

I make no apologies for being a happy Three customer, I don't work for them but I have been on the network since 2004 and it's got better and better over the years. Everything I post here are my own opinions and I don't deliberately try to mislead people.
I've posted positive things about other networks and have expressed different views on different aspects of the various networks, but what we see from Wave appears to be just a vendetta of some kind. The bashing from 1 thing to the next is endless, it's like a torrent of abuse or negativity over and over. |

Right now all of the mobile operators are 'positioning' and 'posturing' but hopefully not at the expense of their service provision. Interesting to read the press reports about 3's new man in charge and how he wants to double the user base from 5 million to 10 million in 4 years. One has to wonder what happened to the previous count of 7.5 million that Hutchison Whampoa quoted in their most recent stats? http://online.wsj.com/article/BT-CO-...27-705404.html |

Ok, lets break down this post: Quote:
The current promotion of data is a starategy move to attempt to force the regulator to give them some advantage which they will seek to profit from in the future.
However you don't know it's it's all conjecture posted as fact. See what you did there? Quote:
My concern is that they will deliberately attract too many customers at low prices and provide poor service quality to make their point and leave 1000s suffering as a result.
Plus isn't that why these companies are in business, to sign up customers? isn't that why they paid billions for the licence? oh wait O2 didn't pay billions for 900Mhz did it? no it got virtually given it for free. That sounds fair to 1) let them use it for 3G and 2) let them now try and delay 4G, don't hear you saying anything about that. Quote:
Much the same as happened in 2003/4 when they launched prematurely and could not even carry voice calls reliably.
