Need a cheap phone to replace a old one

My mobile phone gave up the ghost a couple of weeks back and my Mum gave me an old one of hers to temporarily replace it, however that one now has got a faulty ear piece meaning I have to use a wired handsfree kit to talk on it!!!

So I need to get a phone to replace it, unfortunately I'm out of work at the moment and cannot afford an iPhone which I would ideally like.

I need something that is PAYG but it would be nice to have a couple of extra features such as camera, FM radio, etc. I've been looking on Carphone Warehouse's website and found a few for £30 + £10 top up but I don't know which to go for.

Can anyone recommend a decent PAYG phone for less than £50? Thanks

I got a Nokia 2600 three or four years back from tesco for £20, even cheaper now.

Good phone, good battery life, still use it as a spare. Has radio, bluetooth, camera, etc etc, good little phone.

Well, lzak, l've got a few suggestions for you:

1. Decide what type of phone you'd like, conventional 9 button candy bar type, one with a full QWERTY keyboard or a touchscreen phone.
2. Look at sites that offer good deals on phones such as this one here http://www.dialaphone.co.uk/pay-as-y...e_Headers_PAYG and Argos sometimes have clearance deals http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Browse...s|14419095.htm. l'd also suggest looking at your mobile network's own site to see what their latest deals are on PAYGo phones.
3. lf you find something you like the look of, Google the name of that phone with the word review to see what other people's experiences are so that you don't end up with a turkey.
