Can't upgrade firmware on Galaxy S (Virgin Mobile)
Had this phone for a while and never bothered to update the firmware. Now I have a rotation problem I've been advised to try doing this but can't. Samsung Kies loads up and connects to my phone but the option to update the firmware is greyed out saying the version currently is not official.
Do I need to install something official to start with, then upgrade? |

Check that Kies is the latest version. It has recently had an update.
