Happy with the decision, but would have preferred SchieBe. Let's hope it's released afterwards!

These are now the tracks that have to be single for me (from most wanted to least)

SchieBe
(Marry the Night)
Americano
Heavy Metal Lover

That should be it in my opinion, possibly Bloody Mary as well.

Edge of Glory was a good song and worthy of being a No 1. You and I should never have been released.

I cant see Scheisse ever being released. It's too controversial, would be censored to death and therefore wouldnt reach as many radio listeners and wouldnt be shown on daytime TV.

That's ridiculous. The average song by the likes of Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, etc. has more swear words, etc. in than Scheisse, and they all do fine.

There's no reason why they can't release Scheisse tbh. Yes, they'd have to censor a lot, but think how much has to be censored out of Lighters by Bad Meets Evil or Look At Me Now by Chris Brown on Roman's Revenge by Nicki Minaj, and so on, and I've heard all those on the radio.

Surely Schiesse should be released.

It will show that she can take those risks! Which is what she needs to do. It is Redones best production of his life and it deserves to be shone! And the more controversial "banned" the better IMO! because it will have hype.

Marry The Night is a bold Dance/House elemental song that will relaunch the era across the UK and globally after a messy promo! And Schiesse and Heavy Metal Lover should definitely be released as future singles! ESPECIALLY those.

Americano i can take or leave, as with Bloody Mary (those i take are the other faves) one because it may appear dumbed down and out of context while the other is too "religiousy" to be enjoyable and will be Judas all over again, only less commercial.

*looks around* So, I seem to be the only one who dislikes 'Scheisse'.It's just so watered down!I love the cheesy element in pop, but GaGa did not handle it properly with this song.To me, it just screams "hey, I got a good pop chorus, but it's too basic, so why not do a weird intro to make it special and overload and overwork the beat??".

I like 'Government Hooker' a lot, though.I don't know if it's going to be released, but in terms of the dark element that her whole cd was about, this song was her best outcome.

GH won't be released.

Yeah, I've kind of figured it out. It's a shame, though, because it really showcases something very different about her and it's imo the best (and least overproduced) beat in her album, so it would be great for the clubs.I like this song a lot and I'd like to see a video for it tbh, but whatever works for her, I guess

I hate Scheisse aswell. It's just so boring to me. I agree with you, nothing actually happens in the beat. That's why I hate RedOne. The instrumentals he makes are honestly not much more complex than the instrumental of Someone Like You. He's really generic.

But at the same time, I think it will do fine on radio. Look at Ayo Technology by 50 Cent, or I Wanna Love You by Akon. Those songs had FAR more disturbing lyrics, and they got played on the radio and were massive hits. They make Scheisse look like a nursery rhyme tbh. Scheisse can work well as a single if those songs did.

I hate to say it, but I think there's still a double standard to these things.

I wouldn't be surprised if Scheisse was heavily censored, or not played at all, whilst the boys get away with much more explicit content.

Did you ever hear Ayo Technology (the song was supposed to be called Ayo Pornography origianlly) on the radio back in the day? Trust me, that was heavily censored. The song finished up probably about 25% instrumental, and whenever it was played on Radio 1, the presenter always had to issue a warning beforehand telling viewers that they might be offended by the lyrics in the song, and that was after they censored all the worst bits out.

You might have a point about the double standards though, but I think Scheisse would be fine really. It's actually been getting a fair bit of radio airplay in the US.

Love this song. So much better than the crap she has been releasing.

Terrible single choices so far this era. Hopefully Marry The Night will take us out with a bang.

this isn't the last song to come from the album. There's still at least two more singles to come in my opinion.

Simply, when i heard the quotes from the lady herself....for me it was clear that the songs to listen to were Judas, Americano, Marry The Night, BTW; You and I, Government Hooker........however fan reaction was extremely positive to Govnt Hooker and Scheisse.

I still stand by BTW (it was a song that odes to \Express Yourself but by / it has grown in popularity and statue) It is a grower and as a song showcases longevity. Should it have been the intial release? No this was a 3rd single release!!!

Judas - this song received heavy criticism. Why? It was the backlash to BTW, which most people bought instantly and didnt intially ressonate with. Or thought it was too Madonna copycat. Judas was the natural successor to Bad Romance .... and i actually love this track but its too dark elctro techno for mainstream appeal.

IN FACT, you're the one being rude by saying that Gaga fans "need to get a grip".

Hypocrite.

Edge of Glory and You and I - strangely tread similar stadium rock territory. Both are great.

I think she should have released tracks ....

1. Heavy Metal Lover or Marry the Night as first single (familiar fame monster territory)
2. Edge of Glory
3. Born This Way
4. Americano
