Even DENNIS had one. Maisy already has three separate ones. Why should Mark not have his own appreciation thread?

I love his nominations and can't understand all the huffing and puffing about him daring to THINK about them before he goes into the diary room. I mean, how dare he think?

He seems a kind, stable, unegotistical housemate with a nice zany line in humour. Mark, I salute you.

Mark annoyed me at first, but I'm growing to like him more and more as time goes on. I thought his answer to Aaron's question last night about nearly kissing a girl was well thought out and sensible, and he's not as kooky, ditsy or stupid as he came across in the first few days. Definitely a grower

Hahaha, just talk about your medical problems, your personal life and a few other non-Mark-related situations and it'll get there soon enough

Loved today's Praying Mantis advice ... as Harry says, it's often unconventional, but it's good!

I think of all the housemates ever Mark is the one I'd most like to know ... he's a dingbat on the surface, but as soon as you get past that he's full of all the qualities that would make him an exceptional friend ... Aaron and Harry are very lucky!

And that reminds me ... how did Harry & Mark end up sharing a bed? ... seems an odd couple to have bondd on the first night, but they are both very laid back and relaxed so work well together!

Not quite sure - the bed sharing seems to be quite fluid at the moment, and one of the beds has been out of commission as being full of food. But really I think they are glad to get away from all the tears and tantrums. I thought they were great last night.

Nice to see lots of farmiliar faces here lolThanks wonkey for starting this thread.Mark is not the annoying clown of the first few days. There is a sensible, reasonable and loyal person behind the act.He gave some sensible advice to Rebeckah and I started to notice him and then to Aaron about kissing,he is quite loyal and doesnt seem to bitch or get involved in things that dont concern him.I am warming to him.

... they've both been great throughout ... think they slept in the living room when their bed was out of action ... tis impossible to really know without the LF though ...

Today's most positive thread (by miles I would have said) is about Mark's fake task: http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showt...1#post53168440

I see that on Mark's 2010 application (which refuses to link) he put as his claim to fame that he had once streaked in front of 15,000 people. always shy and modest then. I wonder who he would have been friendly with if he had got in? I can't really see him lying in a tangle of limbs with Dave, Mario and Ben.

Here's one for the family album...

when he first went in I did think he was playing up a bit and that he'd annoy me, but he really is just a very decent and upbeat guy. Somehow he slowly became one of my favourites in there

Mark, Aaron and Harry are so good together, as in tonight with Aaron handing over care of Mark to Harry, and Harry solemnly promising to let him talk about football. I'm not quite sure what Mark was doing sitting on the kitchen floor apparently dismembering a broom.

Agree,at times he tries too hard, like having a shower with clothes on,but it could have been a bet or something, without LF you can never tell.

I think he would have bonded with Dave,he too was a funny guy tbh,Sam Pepper, and John James(they met during auditions, and got on apparently)

Just popping in to show my appreciation for Mark

I wasn't too keen on him at first, thought he was a bit of a prat, but I really like him now. Crept up on me all of a sudden

Like some of you have said - a grower

Love him. I love the fact that he is just so wise yet so dumb and innocent like.

I love his green eyes. and what had me in stitches the other day was when he was getting Aaron to have Harry talk to him if Aaron was evicted.

When he said "And tell him to talk to me even if he doesn't care" (I surmise) made me laugh out loud.

He is great.

Yeh, that made me chuckle too. And 'I might want to talk about football too' or wtte.

I was just catching up on some news and pics and noticed his lovely green eyes.

I think the house def relies him to keep things lighthearted, there's so much angst at times with Aaron and Faye
