Has anyone had this done? Is it painful and does it heal well?

Not personally no, i have heard that they are quite prone to rejection though.

I had mine done a few years ago and wouldn't recommend it.

It looked good for about 6 days then started rejecting and that's painful! I had to take the rings out before they worked their way right to the edge because they could have left permanent splits in the finger-webs.

If they don't reject - and it's far more likely that they will do than not - they'll be very prone to tearing because of getting caught on things.

Why on earth would you do that to yourself ....

Some people need bringing back to reality. You arent a cyborg, you are supposed to be a member of the human race.

I had it done back in college, on my right hand (wrong choice, should of had it on the left!) Getting it done didnt hurt, they sprayed it first, so it just felt cold and numb. Mine didnt reject, but after a while and I thought it was all healed and fine, I would, you know.... and then after a few minutes it was oh dear god!!!!! so, dont strain the area, even it feels fine and normal if you get it done. I thought mine looked well good, and no one else had it done at my college, that I saw, I liked that alot, its not all gloom and rejection, it can look really good
