I've just seen the "Very" ad with Diana Vickers.
"I love this dress - its got a Studio 54 thing going on" (Eh?) Then at the end when she says "Don't forget the leather.. it feels good to be bad" and pops on a leather jacket ![]() She seems a nice person and good for her, but it just sounds naff when she says that. |

That Bingo advert with the BINGO BINGO I'M IN LOVE song.
Wonga.com, and any short term loan ads. The Dolmio family. It's getting old now, and borderline offensive to Italians. The Homebase adverts. Whoever out of Peter, Bjorn and John is responsible for the whistling needs their lips glued together. Halifax. At least they got rid of the Halifax FM ads, but they replaced them with something just as bad. Go Compare. Where else in the days before cars will Gio Compario appear? Also, there seems to be a big trend in adverts covering songs recently. |

That was an advert for Windows 7. "To the cloud!", exclaims the woman. Rather unrealistic that she found another photo that matched perfectly without her having to adjust the lighting etc. |

Anyone mentioned the Chrysler advert yet, with the voiceover bloke who sounds like he's saying "ludgery"?

"Chrysler's always been known for making stodgy American crapmobiles, so here's a rebadged Lancia! Those who know no better will think it's typical American tat, those who do know better will have their souls bleed that one of the iconic cars of all time has been besmirched by Chrysler!"

Dislike the Michelin advert where if you put these tyres on you can stop x metres earlier than if you were using the previous incarnation of the tyre. Sequence is "filmed" in rain.
But as soon as the new tyres are fitted (or thrown on in the case of this video) onto the car, the rain stops. So why promote the wet stopping performance of the tyre then change the weather to dry? |

That Ikea ad where the couple are chucking stuff at each other does my nut in. They need to grow up and act like responsible adults and stop giving small children the impression it's ok to trash their home.

Theres one that is for money lending, but it is literally the worst acted/produced advert thats ever been made. Where the guy screams at the petrol pump, and the woman spills coffee on her laptop

Actually quite like the "fallen angel" ones. There again, the wings for the angels were made by a friend of my sig other, so I am probably slightly biased!!
Ooh, those weird stats - adverts for razors are just as bad for that sort of thing!! |

Seriously, see how she says "so I'm told". How can she elongate 'told'? I don't know but she manages to somehow. I really need something else to irritate me. |

we’re on our way there. With toys in their millions, all under one roof It’s called Toys ‘R’ Us! Soon after bedtime, when dark night-time falls. Geoffrey & helpers, stock up all the shelves. From ceiling to floor; books, board games & bikes, teddies, puppets & dolls, bats, spaceships & trikes! There’s millions says Geoffrey, all under one roof. It’s called Toys ‘R’ Us, Toys ‘R’ Us, Toys R Us! A 1990s classic (even though it was first shown in 1989)! Anyway, that advert with the three Dogs at a Petrol Station has surely got to be the most awkward advert at the moment. A 'tense' situation with a badly acted 'diversion' conversation plus rather badly animated Dogs equals a terrible advert. |
