I always feel "Children In Need" should be renamed "Needy TV Stars", so desperate to be loved they want everyone to see how "nice" they are, by letting down their hair (unless it's Dominic Littlewood) and their reputations, and of course miullions of people can see them doing their little bit "for charity"

And does Wogan still get his "expenses" paid for his evening of good work?

Just seen the John Lewis Christmas ad. I think it's lovely. I'd even go as far to say the lady's cover of the Smith's song is better than the original.

All these "murdering a classic" remarks are rather OTT, stop being a shower of Ebeneezers, it's Christmas! Well, it's soon Christmas...

Because of those Children in Need ads, I hate Lady GaGa more than ever! I'm going to go insane if I hear "Bad Romance" once more!

The only thing SS can drive is everyone up the wall with her nasal wailing !

Funny how since she came 3rd in a 'singing contest',she's done no singing in any of her TV appearances..

As I'm a Richard Hawley fan (who, you may ask?) I get very disappointed to hear a snippet of his song on the latest Renault ad - played tonight during IACGMOOH ad break.

He has a lovely voice and I'd love to hear it right to the end. He also sung 'Open Up Your Door' in the Haagen Dazs advert.

The Credit Expert advert with that complete and utter bitch at speed dating just being vile with her vileness (is that a word?) not even been discouraged as a bad thing.

The McDonalds advert with yet another classic song being murdered, I actually live only a few miles from where this advert looks to have been filmed (Huddersfield) and from the beginning to the end he must have walked several different streets for about half a mile or maybe even more.

The Zoosk advert as it's funny how all the men look like supermodels on the website at the end

So because people have difference musical tastes from you, we're a bunch of Christmas hating Scrooges? How charming and mature.

Different music tastes? I actually like the Smiths. I'm just not snobby about any of their songs being covered for a Christmas ad campaign.

Now jog on.

That Christmas advert that has the kids putting on a panto and singing about their 'Luvverly Muvva', it's twee enough as it is..
But when it moves into the kids doing a rap about their 'wicked' muvva, it completely nosedives.

I have to switch over it grates so much.

I think it's quite a nifty gimmick myself. Having spent quite a lot of time in the States myself, I can vouch for how rubbish their tea is (their most popular brand, Lipton, is so weak it'd get thrown back in your face if you tried serving it somebody over here) and playing on that (correct) preconception is quite a good idea.

It's probably because she's a woman. That means she can't be vile at all, and the stupid, stupid man who's obviously saving a bit of money by living with mum and not paying for expensive haircuts must be an idiot. He's a man, remember?

I'd love to see this ad switched 'round ...

Yes this littlewoods advert winds me right up too, especially when you see what she bought (xBox and Macbook amongst other things) which would pretty easily come to £1,300-£1,500 plus the other stuff the kids sing about.... and she's paying monthly for it, no doubt at some overinflated APR rate, probably ending up paying back the thick end of £2K And no mention of daddy? More sexist tripe to compete with Boots.

What also winds me up is the 'bright house' advert for the 'weekly repayment store' and how the two smug bimbos claim they come everyweek like it's something to be proud of

QuickQuid and another smug twunt borrowing money at Hyper-APR then smugly telling us about it

Iceland are also getting on my tits, seeing stacey solomon's enormous face every set of adverts during I'm a celebrity.

McD's - The massive bellend walking down the street sidestepping people on his way to McD's. I just want to deck him.

Wowcher... I just want to chuck a big bucket of shit over that woman.

Uncle Ben's "talk to the microwave" boil in the bag shrice - This advert is anal-recoil-provoking and the dubbing makes my eyes bleed.

Barclays and the godawful smug, self-satisfied, sanctimonious voice of stephen merchant blithering on about pathetic metaphors that is slowly turning my brain into mush and causing it to seep out my ears while I slip into a coma from overexposure to merchants fooking voice!

The Littlewoods childrens Christmas concert ad that descends into materialistic rapping - not because it's bad, just depressing.

Edit: sorry I see I was beaten to it

I don't like the Uncle Ben's microwave rice ad. I think it might be the woman's voice which irritates me and the two guys who are acting dim, especially the one in the green jumper.

I actually quite like the John Lewis one (well I think that's the one) with the little boy who can't wait for Christmas morning. Saying that, I find it hard to believe he would want to give a pressie to his parents before opening all of his first.

I hope none of you have had the displeasure of seeing the new Argos Christmas ad with the blue aliens. It's just...awful.
