FFS, that stupid Swiftcover ad was on THREE times in THREE ad breaks today during DOND!

Truvia - Stupid advert with an annoying girl singing about a sugar substitute. Another one to go on the mute list!

Did I seriously just see an advert for a matchbox toy of an Eddie Stobart lorry. It's not so much the lorry (well. yes, it is) it's the words the guy was saying to accompany it. Maybe people could put it going upwards on the stairs so they can pretend to be trying to get past it on a hill.
And if that wasn't enough there's even a DVD boxset of the Eddie Stobart TV documentary! Here's the link: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Eddie-Stobar...5885222&sr=1-1 And a merchandise shop which can be found at www.stobartshop.co.uk The programme is probably as riveting as Ocean Finance TV There's series 1 and 2 available.

I hate those "Give us your old phone/cds/dvds/games" ads. I admit I have used one of them for DVDs etc but the rate of return they give is actually awful.
Not to mention those adverts asking for gold. I saw one on TV the other day for a company called postalgold. Will there be adverts offering cash for your soul next?

IT'S NEW YEAR!

And that means we're all gonna be inundated with adverts for subscriptions for magazines where you can build your very own piece of crap in week-by-week parts.

Whether it be some tall sailboat or a copy of the titanic or other such historic piece of tat. First issue 99p, thereafter 5.99 for the next 2 years but that's ok cos you get a magazine with each issue complete with your next glue together part.

That's if you actually manage to collect the entire 100 issues over the next 2 years which is near damn impossible seeing as half the time you can't get hold of half the issues as most the time the publication goes out of print before you get to complete your shitty handmade copy of the Titanic or Columbus ship.

In the end it has actually cost you a total of 600 for some crap model which you have half the pieces missing because you didn't manage to get all the issues.

What a bargain! 600 to half build your own hand made model ship which has probably cost about 20 to make and would cost you about the same to buy in the shops.

Seriously, what braindead idiots subscribe to these things?

It turns out that the "Science Behind the Beauty" shit is not just on Pantene but they have ads for Olay, Oral B and Head & Shoulders. GOOD GRIEF!! FOUR 2 minute long ads talking about the scientific gibberish involved to sell us these products. How the hell was NASA involved with a bloody shampoo?! What a load of complete and utter NONSENSE!

Also, the latest Cheerios advert. Any ad that uses a bunch of annoying kids makes me want to MUTE the TV!

They honestly should just ban all adverts from tv. We pay a license so why have them on. If I hear bloody happy feet again ill scream! What about public information films? Dont they count no more? Or do people just not care anymore. Its time we brought back adverts about teaching kids the dangers of crossing the roads or having charlie or the green cross code man back.

Is that the advert with the two lazy women who laze about on the sofas which is also the sponsors of Coronation St? I've seen the dark haired woman on Not Going Out playing Tim Vine's girlfriend.

Any ad where a child talks about money in any way as though they know what they're on about is automatically vile. Like I said, kids have no clue of the value of money when their parents spoil them to such disgusting, over the top degrees. To have a child acting like they know about money better than the adults watching the adverts is one of the most insulting advertising tactics out there and I hate that it appears to be on the increase.

Your tv licence only goes to the bbc who don't have adverts hence why all the others do. How else would you expect to run a tv company with no income? Or perhaps you'd prefer to pay a separate licence for the others too and have no adverts or pay a subscription instead. I don't think so. Easiest solution, buy a PVR and forward through the adverts or get yourself 'On demand tv'.

By the way your first sentence totally contradicts the last.

Direct Line-

The new one where she's slapping and hitting her husband. Imagine if it was the other way around! Not funny either way.
