I've seen that advert on Discovery Travel and Living a few times. Horrendous And that Wonga loans advert has been annoying me all week.

Just saw an advert for The Money Shop payday loans.

If loan ads get any worse, then I will probably start believing that the world will actually end this year.

The ad for Toyota Yaris is really getting on my nerves. The one with the badly animated ugly rapper talking about how this car is sooo incredible because it can use Bluetooth to play music in the cd player/radio.Whoop de frickin doo, I couldn't care less, especially since I don't own a car!!

I love this thread. When I see an ad on tv that winds me up I like to come here and I know I'm not alone in rolling my eyes.

Dawn Porter and her toilet wipes brought me here today..

It's the same guy. His voice is really annoyingly smug.

The Halifax ad. where the angelic staff are singing 'I'll be there' and there's the laughable offer of £5 a month if you switch to them.

In reality, they'd just spunk your money on their bonuses and bank staff, far from being angelic, are all chiselling little crooks.

AAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!! That ****ing so juicy ad is back. I've never bought it, ever. In fact if these ads go on for much longer I might end up being arrested in my local supermarket for hunting down the damn things and destroying them.

Just seen a hideous new Argos advert that will make you long for the little blue aliens to come back! Three little girls ganging up on a little boy whilst playing at being "grown up" - the next generation of Boots harpies in the making!! HATE IT!!

Not so much the worst adverts but ones that I find the most confusing and patronising. There are two and both are public information adverts.

The first is the Vinnie Jones ad (I do think he's quite good) where suddenly they are telling us to forget all that crap that we learnt about the kiss of life and to only press on the chest in order to resuscitate somebody with no explanattion as to why they have changed the rules.

The other is the one about mental ilness.

I do not have a clue what it is telling me. If an employee returns to work after having a mental illness am I supposed to ask how they are? I'm not sure as when the guy in the ad is asked he turns into a pile of dust.

Whatever they are saying, are they sure that everybody with a mental illness wants this simplistic attitude portrayed in an advert?

Apparently, studies have recently shown that pressing on the chest is far more effective than mouth-to-mouth in terms of reviving people, though of course you won't be able to follow this advice if they have chest injuries. Indeed if you think about it, when you blow air into a person's lungs you are actually mostly blowing carbon dioxide into them (which is what you breathe out), but what's really needed for the lungs is oxygen, so chest compression not only encourages the lungs to start working again it also sucks in general air which has a much higher percentage of oxygen (what's really needed).

I find the Lurpak advert nauseating not irritating. It's utterly foul and made me feel sick the first time I saw it.

The food just looks pre-digested.

I had the same reaction. I said to the misses "So am I meant to ask, or just ignore someone returning to work after time off for mental illness?" I think we are meant to "behave normally" and ask, but the add is very confusing.

Your exhaled breath actually contains a high proportion of oxygen, I understand.

There's something about the blonde in the eharmony advert that screams high maintenance madam. I'm not surprised she's single, I kinda feel sorry for the bloke.

The ad is a mess. It offers no insight whatsoever on how people in a workplace environment with mental illness are supposed to be treated.

It reminds me of the "Talk To FRANK" adverts which were so bewildering that a healthy person wouldn't be able to understand them, nevermind a person suffering with drug related problems.

I think what they're trying to get across is that the average person who hasn't had CPR training would be confused and apprehensive of what to do.
If all they have to remember is chest compressions to the tune of Staying Alive then a higher percentage of people will be prepared to jump in and possibly save lives.

The ad is back that really annoys me is the Kodak one where two boys print out about a thousand photos to decorate the garden, that would cost so much money and yet we are meant to believe it was 1 black & 1 colour cartridge
