What Would Be Your Plot For An Emmerdale Storyline

If you had to compose a storyline for any Emmerdale character what would the plot be and which characters would you involve in the storyline?

another plane crash - killing the whining Katie and Andy, the annoying Daz, as well as the boring Alan Turner (the first crash missed him) and Terry (he's run out of places to go) - also Debbie - she's getting on my nerves now!

another Plane Crash would have everyone barking about unoriginality. As many soaps naturally have a [sort-of] mirror to real events (such as the Brookie 'Body Under the Patio' story had an obvious parallel to the harrowing Fred & Rose West story that played out the mid 90s), why not have a story a bit like that Tony Martin guy who shot and killed the intruder on his recluse propert the other year, or some Fox Hunting story, which is all over the news today.

I'd like to see Emmerdale have some of the country-life-backbone it had when it was a country soap. It's evolved into a flimsy magazine soap, where the setting is as irrelevant as the settings of US Soaps.

that tony martin idea is a bit too close to the ron dixon one in brookie a few years back....

Have any of the soaps done a story about internet gambling yet? I know there was a similar story a few years back in Brookside where a woman was addicted to lottery scratchcards but have any of them touched on internet gambling yet?

Id have a serial killer pick off the characters I don't like. When it is revealed Zoe is the killer because of her mental illness, she is not caught and frames Steph for the crime. Zoe develops a split personality, calling herself Lindsay Miller and for months viewers watch as Zoe is effectively gone and Lindsay is in her body, killing people. Lindsay approaches Alan, her final victim but before she knows it, he has already been smothered to death by Steph. Zoe as Lindsay watches in the shadows and then escapes, part two coming later ....

Well first of all I would ship Katie off once and for all to where ever her dad moved to. The whole village would see the vile Debbie Dingle for what she is, nothing more than a loud mouth trouble causing brat and she would have to leave the village to live with Nellie Dingle in Ireland.

Well firstly, I'd have some sort of spectacular event to get rid of the dead wood and departing characters. There would be a huge explosion at Home Farm on bonfire night, when Sadie is hosting a party for the village to sweet talk them into approving for another King Construction project. Shadrach would light a fag on the hob of the oven and not turn off the gas properly, and then a firework would go off inside the house and kaboom! Katie, Charity, Danny, Pearl, Shadrach, Len and Jarvis all go up in a puff of smoke.

Then I'd put Chloe with Matthew King, who would totally treat her mean but she would be mighty keen. I'd bring back Kelly ...and Kelly and Chloe would totally hate each other...in fact...Kelly would hate most people. She'd wind up all of the females by flirting with their men...she would flirt with Carl and totally get on Chas' nerves, cue one hell of a catfight. However, she would meet an unlikely ally in Sadie, who wants Chas as far away from the Kings as possible. Sadie offers Kelly £10,000 to split up Carl and Chas, Kelly accepts and soon sets about with her task, also winding up stepmum Viv in the process by flirting with Bob. Meanwhile, Val and Rodney split up as Val moves on to Tom King, who is devastated by the loss of Charity. Robert and Donna console each other over losing their partners, but will they let history repeat itself and get back together? Diane is cured of her cancer, and she settles down for a new life as Mrs Sugden, but will Rodney give her up without a fight? Bernice returns to the village briefly as her new relationship has broken down and she needs some time to get her head together. Meanwhile,Val's son (whos name escapes me) helps Nicola plan her wedding to Simon, who's sister from Scarborough arrives in the village and gets together with Marlon. His mother, Leslie, would also return. Steph tries to weasle her way into the King empire by romancing Tom, but Val tells her where to get off.

Totally agree with Debbie Dingle being a brat. The dirty little slag was desparate to de - frock the vicar, and when he said "no" she just jumped into bed with the next man who had a pulse and would give her the time of day!!!!!!

My plot would be that Marlon is working in the kitchen when Simon's sister sees him and says that she started working in the village at the cafe and he doesn't like it and has a word with Simon who says Marlon should go out with her and Marlon doesn't like Simon's idea and warns her to stay away and she refuses and he drives her to the docks and drives off.

Everyone to eventually know the truth about Chloe's scheming and pretending Syd hit her, then some point later after Frank Bernard has turned up in the village, he rapes Chloe and not one person believes her, even though Frank is a convicted rapist. Everyone just thinks she's using that to try and stir up more trouble and gain sympathy and attention for herself. She leaves the village in tears with no one ever managing to find out the truth, and Frank Bernard smirks as he watches her go, knowing he is free and able to strike again if he chooses...

A bit sick but I think that would be quite a good exit for her since she's leaving early next year!

I think that's quite a good one as Chloe has so far got away with everything she has done. I think it would be a fitting exit for the character...... Actually I don't know why she didn't just bog off with Siobhan it's not like she has any reason to stay in the village.

Right its mid way through the year when Tom King starts a love affair with his ex-daughter in law Sadie King and the feeling is supposadly mutual.
Now Sadie knows that Toms not going to be around for long and the only way to get her moneys worth and beyound all her wishes she gets pregnant with Toms child to secure her place in the King Dynasty.

Now Tom has had a good relationship with his sons until recently when:

Jimmy and his fathers relationship cease to exist when he learns of his fathers betrayal and even worse that after all sadie said she was still willing to have a child with tom and not Jimmy and so Jimmy promises to get even with his father.

Chas and Carl are happily engaged until Chas accidently finds evidance to suggest that sadie fitted up Charity for a crime she did not commit (or killed her - which ever they decide to go with) sadie thinks that Chas will remain silence but as the days go on she realises chas wants revenge for her family. So Sadie sets her up for the murder of one of toms associates and she gets charged and goes down for 5 years. Tom believes that chas is guilty and so makes sure she never contacts a heartbroken Karl again.
But in a horrible twist of fate Karl learns the truth from footage on a recording from a CCTV camera and instantly suspects his father organised the whole thing and also swears to get even.

Mat on the other hand has indeed stayed in his fathers good books - that is untill it becomes clear that Sadie is planning on getting her grubby hands on the whole king empire by persuading tom to cut his four sons out of his will. Matt decides that sadie and Tom must die in order for him to maintain his inheritance.

Other suspects include Debbie Dingle who blames the kings for her mothers death and the imprisonment of chas dingle and max king who also needs his inheritance from his father

After a months of disagreements with the dingles and his family.
Tom King marries sadie at home farm. On their way home sadie has contractions and so they go to pick up her personal belongings to take to the hospital - Tom goes in the house because sadie is in pain and cannot move and when tom opens the door - a bomb goes off killing him instantly and luckily not sadie (or is it luck) - this starts of a massive who done it - with his family as the main suspects.

This needs refining - but you get my idea.

Dalton, how old are you? Your writing skills are very juvenile - sorry to seem so blunt, but you may as well end the story with... "and they all went home, had their tea and went to bed. the end".
