The OP is proof that it does exist! It doesn't matter how many Scots on this forum state that they vote independently for their fave (of course they do, they're fans of the show, which is why they are here!) it does not discount the fact that many vote the Scot.

If I were Scottish, she would never, ever get my vote, nor would anyone else who chose to speak in their Scottish tongue when it suited them.

I think after the disappointment of the rugby yesterday its even more important that us Scot's vote for Lulu to give this great nation something to celebrate this Christmas

Not had a great sporting year this year what with Andy Murray at the tennis,Gary Anderson at the darts and all our Scottish football teams being knocked out of Europe early it would make the year more bearable if we could get a Scottish winner of SCD this year

Come on LULU

She is only Scottish when it suits her agenda.

Where are they now? Now this is ridiculous! Pete Waterman was never to be seen again after the Michelle McManus fiasco! He was mortified she had won and went home if you remember!

I won't be voting for her because she can't dance. Who gives a monkeys if she is Scottish, Irish, Welsh or English - vote for the best dancer whatever their nationality. After the first two shows the best dancer is Jason Donovan - but things could change.

My parents like Lulu musically but my mum won't be voting for her unless she dances better in her next dance (just as I'm sure Scots won't be voting for her if she doesn't improve). I still don't understand why it is assumed that a contestants nationality will determine a fanbase. No doubt this conversation would have come up with the lieks of Kenny Logan as well.

I'm sure Lulu will overcome the handicap she has been given with Brenden and put in a good performance tonight.

Of course Lulu can dance, and she would obviously be so much better if she had a better partner.

Strange that there is a headline on a magazine this week
Lulu ; I thought I could dance until Strictly

So Lulu doesn't think she can dance, but you think you know better than her???

And her partner is doing pretty well, managing to get any sort of dance out of her

Lulu is very modest in the assessments of her own ability, her current partner would be able to better for her if he spent less time admiring his own reflection in training.

Lulu is quite accurate... she isn't great and she knows it.
You saying otherwise won't change that.

Maybe as a non-dancer, you dont realise that a pro will look in the mirror to be able to see the lines and foot work of his partner "from a distance"

Lulu? Do well? We must be watching different programmes.

A her dancing has nothing particular to recommend it
B she's a glorified Yank these days and the good folk of Britain don't really take to that kind of betrayal

I think each week with her above 28 marks and the huge Scottish support she has back here this will keep her in the competition till at least December

Getting over 28 won't be enough, as the way the judges are going, Jason will be getting 48 out of 40 this coming Saturday

It is accurate to say that Lulu is modest about her own ability, as it is me, I would be the last person to blow my own trumpet about the enormity of my prowess on the dance floor, I leave it for my partners to blow my trumpet for me. I agree that a pro dancer would be able to look in the mirror to be able to see the lines and foot work of his partner "from a distance", the trouble is with Brenden where mirrors are concerned is that he only has eyes for his own amazing profile, Brenden would never knowingly use a mirror to look at anyone else, his ego would never permit it.

You clearly have a problem with Brendan (if you are going to insult someone, be polite enough to spell their name correctly) but as far as I can tell the the training clips, Brendan has been extremely supportive of Lulu, even tolerating her wearing a hat during training which must make it hard to Brendan to make eye contact with her which is a must when trying to teach a novice.

But hey, you'll continue to believe that Lulu is a marvellous dancer, not matter what anyone else says.

I have no wish to insult Brenden I quite simply just make observations about his behaviour.
