People seem to say that she should just forget about Collide and move on, so performing on X Factor US will not be moving on. If not Run then she must perform a new song.

I agree, I don't get why people don't understand that you CAN perform an album track before it's release to promote the UPCOMING album... people have been doing it for AGES.

I honestly think she should perform Trouble or Glassheart (with a bigger scale dance routine of the G-A-Y performance). Honestly, seeing Leona live at G-A-Y, was incredible - and seeing that routine first hand was amazing. The song translated SO well into a live performance which was so much more 'intense' (if that's the right word) than what you see on a shakey camera. I just think if she could do that on a big stage, with a lot of dancers (keeping her throne) and then throw in her doing a little dance at the breakdown, she'd catapult herself back up as one of the world's top singers. I remember just being stood there going "Oh.. my... god. " (in an 'amazing' way!)

I don't know if the thing with this Miami club organizing Collide giveaways was an accident but it seems to me that they were not trying to do from-top-promo but from-bottom one if you see where I'm going. I'm not sure if it's still in process or it just crashed badly but it could be the case. But as it looks now, we will never know.

I think they're just trying to play up on the fact Leona is quite 'big' on the US club circuit at the moment with that song. Commercially it's not doing great, but within clubs it is. They'll want to keep that up as long as possible. Bring in a new audience.

Totally agree if she goes on X factor, I'm hoping for Trouble or Glassheart. She shouldnt spend this opportunity on a song from two albums ago

Leona arriving at Heathrow. Looking particularly stylish. She really suits having her hair up imo.

I definitely wouldn't be against that! 'GlassHeart' definitely translates well live from what I have seen and heard and if she performed it on US XF like she did at G-A-Y (or even better!) then I'm sure she will have created enough hype for a successful album release a few months later.

Collide #1 on some Japanese radio station. Not significant, but looks nice.

Look fabulous! And I would add I don't think Collide has to be forgotten like a bad memory. Lots of ways in which we can think of it as successful Still jogging to it when I go jogging!

I agree. It's still a good up-tempo for Leona's back catalogue. I just think that it was a mess in terms of release.

The Avicii situation was bad enough, but the lack of promotion and airplay along with the fact that the song could have been better lyrically (the main way I judge whether a song is good) takes it to a new level.

Anyway, time to turn the page on that chapter and start afresh.

Does anyone think Leona will do something around Christmas that isn't necessarily linked to the album? Something like another soundtrack or one of her songs from GlassHeart will be used to promote something a la Sugababes' 'Freedom'.

If she only does one song on the US XF my guess is that it would be BL as it by far and away her best known track.

I would love to her her sing Run on it, but I fear that it is wishful thinking and that we are trying to get her to repeat the original effect of Run in the UK - does lightning strike twice?

Perhaps she could do short versions of BL and BIT then move onto Trouble?

Yes, would absolutely love Leona to do Glassheart on both UK and US XF - why not, it would give everyone a taste of what is to come. Hope she has the same band, backing singers as on the tour. Loved her routine to GlassHeart at the club G.A.Y.
Failing that I would rather see Run than BL on US XF - I still think Run gives absolutely chills.
I am looking for a well mixed albums, like Stube posted, ballads will have to feature and of course a good lot of mid tempos and a few up tempos. If I am honest, I am willing to take anything lol.

'Bleeding Love' definitely has to be the last resort. It would just be pointless. Everyone is probably still aware of the song and everyone who likes it would have bought it already. If people think that it would be a good idea since it would make the public remember who she is, that's what a VT is for.

'Run', on the other hand, has the potential to touch so many of the millions that will tune into XF. It could easily do what SLY did for Adele after the BRITs/VMAs.

But if 'Run' really is off the cards, 'GlassHeart' would be brilliant! It would put her up there with Rihanna and Katy Perry in people's minds and single-handedly destroy this notion of her being stuck to the stage.

GlassHeart definitely needs to reflect a progressed Leona. Not a contrived changed Leona or a replicate of traditional Leona - a progression. At least several ballads on the album are essential, a few mid-tempos to smooth the transition from one tempo to another and some up-tempos to showcase LeLe Fierce.

I think lightning definitely can strike twice - look at what happened in Germany when she performed Run with the contestants, and also whenever Run is used on a talent show it has a massive effect on that countries chart
