I agree totally on Stars and Lovers- its instant. In fact imo the only other track AS instant is Amazing which is still amazing me. They stand out as the 2 obvious singles for me - and the 2 great live anthemic songs/ Though Pull me Under is so different it could work as a single too I guess. Slowly- maybe or Beat of a Breaking Heart (though that is the one line of lyric Im not too keen on, the song os gorgeous) or Walking on Water

All or Nothing is still the one that I desperately want to love but dont quite get as one of the most outstanding songs on the album - though as you say its much better in full and the passion he puts into the vocals is stunning. Its not one of the 3 songs from the album Id have chosen for the Clyde set anyway but I guess the fact Matt loves it factors in. And just to show how little I know about it, I still cant quite believe they gave away a song as fantastic as Sparks as a short-lived freebie instead of putting it on the album or even the single B-side. I think far too many people dont even know it exists

(I guess the fact he's still doing Nights in White Satin now and then is to remind the people who fell in love with him as XF Matt that it really is still him.)

I have had these too and have not opened them yet as it was created prior to my saying anything about my visit to Inverness and meeting Matt. I don't know who created it but don't take any notice unless it was created by anyone than yourself,Jamak, Linsdey or Ella.

Hi liz you could well be right however the other covers he sings are because he likes to sing them and why not he sings them superbly. I love to hear him singing live and to me, and I stress to me, he has such an ability to get inside the emotional content of a song.

Have to agree that the scenery an Inverness and the surrounding areas is totally awesome.

I like many just want Matts own music out there asap but this track has obvs been chosen for a reason and as LIZ said previously I too like to think of it as a "bridge" across to his own penned co - written music (then in time onto his own 100% written music)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way about All For Nothing. As its Matt favourite track I too really want to love it but for me at the moment its one of my least favourites on the album Maybe I'll feel differently about it once I've heard Matt perform it live. I do feel like Stars and Lovers would be a very good second single. I think Matt needs to have a more upbeat follow up song and when I heard it for the first time I immediately really liked it. I also agree that Sparks is too good a song to be a freebie and should have been on the album.

Regarding tomorrow I can't wait to see Matt perform live for the first time I'm going straight to the venue and am being seated so am not sure if I'll get the chance to meet you all as I have to leave straight after the venue to get home. My daughter is doing me a big favour by coming with me and has to get up really early in the morning so staying out after the gig is not an option. She's not feeling too well at the moment so am keeping everything crossed that she can still come with me
