Anyway, I will tell of my little experience after the show :p I think Cardie has already said there were some people waiting outside still when we were on our way home, I wasn't going to stop but then I thought this might be the last chance I get so I don't want to regret it. So I went back and sat there with the others like a freakin' groupie. Fortunately I didn't have to wait too long.
Remy was hanging around (I'm sorry to report girls but he was with a woman). And Aiden appeared seemingly from nowhere a bit further along the road and the group of girls who were at the front of the queue ran up to greet him. I love a bit of Aiden but not so fussed with meeting him so I stayed put. I was just glad to see his hair was looking normal :p While the others were over there a stage crew guy came out and asked if anyone would like a drumstick which had been left on the stage so I took it (don't tell Sam :o), nice little souvenir for my trip!
They came back over then Sarah emerged so we knew he was on his way. Matt appeared then and he was all smiles and waves when he saw us :) Will was trying to hurry him away immediately and offered to take photos for people to get them done quickly. I took my chance and just said I don't want a photo and can I just get a hug and he said of course and gave me a squeeze :D I wanted to say thanks for a great show and tell him he's amazing and did he remember me from Inverness etc etc but as soon as he pulled back from me someone else went in for a piece of him so that was that. I was still standing near him though so I asked him to sign the drumstick. And there's me always saying I'm not bothered about autographs! Turns out drumsticks aren't easy to sign, it's just an M and a blob of ink but still nice. I was lucky to get that cos Will hurried him away then. He went over to a group of his people and the others all swarmed around him still which I didn't really want to do so I left but then he kind of walked round the group and turned and looked right at me, so I got one last clock at his face before jumping in a taxi :p”
You go girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woop woop!!!!!! And you got a stick! Well done, no hard feelings from me, he was brilliant!

For what it's worth I hope you don't move. Personally I'm glad for X factor - whatever it's manipulations - for bringing Matt to our attention. without it he'd still be slogging away in pubs. I don't really think of this thread as an XFactor spin off any more and since Matt is demonstrating every day how different he is to any other winner - that association doesn't bother me. It might take years to lose the tag as its a shorthand for journalists but his music is speaking for itself.
Plus I can barely keep up on here never mind if you start another one! It's a lovely mix here - serious when need be, fun too and always friendly. :D”
