Xtina has a good voice but she is limited and she's a very bad technical singer. The woman can't belt above E5 without straining her voice. Don't let me go to her head voice, oh god. If we are going to look at her connected range then it's less than 3 Octaves and even then it's flawed.

She can't hold tone and she has a bad pace. The thing is though, I think a lot of this is going to be difference of opinion.”

When it comes to Janet and Ciara, they are real dancers, so of course they follow choreo.The natural flow of Beyonce's show are mostly due to her stage presence and cleverly thought movements.
Vocally, these 3 ladies are not laughable as you mentioned.Monica has a great range, equivalent to Beyonce's and while she is by no means better than Beyonce, she is on the same level of capabilities, but noone will give her props because she's not doing "big" ballads, like 'Halo', so she's never showcased it.Find a video of her covering Whitney's songs and then decide if she's laughable or not.Jennifer Hudson is not better than Beyonce either, but she is on a slightly better level when it comes to belting.She's crystal clear and on point.And of course while she can't really use head voice/falsetto, she is exntending her lower register a bit lately.Now, Jade is amazing at adlibs and she also belts effortlessly and while she has a LOOOOONG way to go until she gets to Beyonce's level, I can only compare Jade (4-5 years of experience) to Beyonce in 2000 and Jade is on the same level as 'Writing's On The Wall' Beyonce.

OK, since you're so shocked, I can tell you that she's not a better singer, but she's a clearer belter than Beyonce...That's all...She cannot sing as many genres as Beyonce, but she can get high notes better, so this makes her considerable competition
Beyonce is a good solid singer and a good entertainer. She is good at what she does and obviously appeals to many. She has been extremely successful and she comes across as a nice person. However I have to agree with O.Michael, there are better singers and better dancers out there. Not that it is a competition.

I think it's pretty obvious from your comments in this thread and also your comments in other threads in the past, that you just have a strong dislike for Beyonce. I mean, half the stuff you come out with doesn't even make sense. Its funny you list all those, but the difference is Beyonce has it all put together, which is why she is soo successful. I don't know why people just random people like Ciara. There will always be someone people think that is better, but when you put it all together, i don't think there is anyone out there right now that does it like Beyonce.

In some respects, I do think she is overrated. For example, she is an amazing singer but her songs are not so amazing. She belts far too much and it gives me a headache sometimes. It's like she constantly needs to remind us in almost every song she does that she has got a good voice. Sometimes less really is more.
Also her songwriting abilities - I'm sure I read somewhere that she'll basically change one word of a song or one line just to get a writing credit when really she doesn't write her own material at all.
But at the same time she's the only real artist out there who can really put on a good performance. She can dance and sing and I imagine her tours will be received very well by fans.
