I know right!!!!!!!!! Jennifer Hudson who has her supermix all the way through her belting range. For someone who is classed as having a 'powerful' voice she has the thinnest tone i've ever heard. Absolutely no resonance. Shes just loud and thats it. At the oscars when her and beyonce performed together Jhud belted F5 and beyonce came out belting F5 and completely drowned Jhud out. If you put Beyonce and Jhud on a stage with no microphone Beyonce would be hear the farthest and most because she has the more powerful voice because she places her voice perfectly and so achieves actual resonance rather than shouting and bellowing like Jhud.
Jhud has a larger belting range but she is not better at belting than Beyonce. And no christina is NOT the voice of her generation. Justin timberlake first coined that term for her and im not taking that weasels word for anything. Christina has the most flawed voice ever for someone who is considered to be a great vocallist. Just every single aspect of her voice is flawed
Her tone is forced and muffled.
She sings from her throat and so has limited resonance so to display 'power' she shouts and roars.
Chronic oversinger with a crap musical ear and has no musicianship over her voice and runs and riffs are just random indulgent unskilled vocallisations
Her belting range is limited she cannot even belt C5 without struggling anymore. She has no idea how to place her voice and she has no idea how to mix thats why her voice gets thinner and more strained as she ascends a scale.
Her lower range is muffled and she drops her larynx
her head voice is a childish girly scream and her whistle register (if you can call it that) is not infact whistle register it is a weak diconnected unsupported scream/falsetto.
She is nowhere near voice of her generation there are so many singers far more skilled than her. I dont even consider her emotional connection to be good at all because she is far to focused on trying to run and trying to hold her voice together that she doesnt really display any emotion
