Couldnt see one so have started one although I expect to be alone in here a lot of the time

It'll be just the two of us :')

I'm really surprised he has so little support at this forum. I mean, I knew there'd be a lot of haters, but I thought there'd be fans too!

I know he could be perceived as annoying by some people and hasn't got the greatest voice (though personally I love his voice and much prefer it to a lot of those who have technically 'better' voices), but I'm still shocked.

Well, we'll be supporting him in here!

His voice isn't the best in the competition, but I do think he is a very good performer. And like that he is just trying to be himself. He has got something in him that might see him edge through other contestants with the "better voices".

He also got that "music" image/look, intruguing.

Frankie is already a far better performer than last year's winner and he is sure to improve!

I am so glad he has received the least 'makeover' of anyone it seems. Poor Sophie looks like another person! Part of Frankie's appeal is what you see is what you get. He is who he is and I like that.

I don't mind him at all. His version of 'What's My Name' was great in my opinion

He could fit into the indie/pop genre quite easily!

I completely agree!

I don't understand all the hate for him on the other forum tbh! Yeahh he's a flirt... but he's 18! Which 18 year old boy doesn't flirt?? Plus, I thought the show on Sunday showed the other side to him, he does seem a genuinley nice person.
He doesn't have the best voice, but he has the personality and stage presence- and that can get you further than being the best singer sometimes IMO

Its that 1st impression thing that some DS members can never get past, similar thing happened with Danyl.

He was perceived as arrogant because he showed his bottom and said he was in it for the money and the women!

I found that refreshing...at least he was honest. Bet you a lot of the young men are in it for that but would never say so!

I'm a huge fan of Frankie.

He just oozes charisma and personality and I also like his vocals.

I loved his honesty about his reasons for entering at the auditions.

All in all, a great guy who I think will go far in this show.

Another Frankie fan here. I think he has a very nice voice it may not be the most powerful but power isn't everything. He's also got something about him, I can't quite explain. I'm looking forward to his live performances, Gary will look after him.

I know! I'm 18 myself and I know so many guys my age who are just as, or more, flirtatious/promiscuous than Frankie. I find it surprising that people are acting as if the way Frankie is is disgusting and repulsive - I hear people saying he's a vile human being and I just don't understand. He just seems like a normal 18 year old boy to me. Christ, if they think he's vile, they should meet some of the guys I know!

I also agree that we saw a different side to him on Sunday. Frankie actually strikes me as very genuine.

It will be interesting to see how he does first live show on Saturday. I think that will set the tone. If he sings well and is more like the Frankie we saw at JH and not so much the Frankie we saw at 1st audition, you may find some peeps opinion changes

Yes Lizzy, of course they are! Not just young men either. Look at Wagner last year. Not comparing him to Frankie otherwise but he obviously got his jollies ogling the dancers and flirting with everyone in a skirt up to and including Mary Byrne. It's really a bit silly for any of these contestants to try and pull the 'credible musician' nonsense considering the nature of the show and I much prefer a bit of honesty to a bucket of pretence.

Anyone know about Frankie's song choice yet?

There are rumours on twitter. Ed Sheeran - The A Team, also rumoured 1D - What Makes You Beautiful.

I think the a team would suit him better.

Poor Frankie, I know that other younger acts in the past like Eoghan, Lloyd and One Direction and often criticized on here but I don't really think Frankies that bad.

He's better than Eoghan, Lloyd and a few members of One Direction, that's for sure.

I think hes someone who Garry will help to improve, and really help to mould. Hes a rough diamond, and he seems like a genuine guy whose enjoying the experience. Give it a few weeks and he'll be great. He takes it all on board.

I thought Frankie did a great job of his song, and was one of the few who made me feel something. I am not a teenage girl but I still find him a very attractive personality and can't understand the hate comments he gets. Knowing the public's fancy for the bland I am worried that he will go out early.
