Would it be possible for them to have a spot on their own this year so we can enjoy them? And if possible without Bruce butting in like he did with Lance last year?

They would do a lot better than some of the guest stars, provided they put a bit of effort into creating a set for the song.

I heard an ad recently and the song sounded perfect for Hayley Sanderson's voice.

I've always wanted them to present the orchestra as were the "big bands" of the forties which played for dancers and those that appeared in "Come Dancing" in the days of Ray McVay (now touring the country leading a "Glen Miller Orchestra, " well worth catching).
I guess they are all hidden as they are considered that they could be a distraction from the dancing. But I think a band on stage adds to the ambiance. I'd much prefer them to feature the band and the singers than invite guest artists who have nothing to do with ballroom. But when they're trying to attract the X-Factor audience....

He sometimes took a couple of days off last series (presumably playing gigs/with family etc) and Chris (who was there on Saturday) or the rock singer-type one (don't know his name , he sang Wicked Game and Dreaming Of You last year) stood in
