Samsung Galaxy S newbie here with a question...
Hey, I just got a [used, unlocked] unit off of eBay [for £190, including P&P], and when I powered it on [after inserting the 02 SIM card of my prior, Samsung Tocco Lite] it's asking me whether I'm 02 Prepaid or 02 Postpaid?
I don't know what either means [just that I've always been a Pay and Go consumer]? And don't want to select one and muck it up!

As I understand it Prepay is the same as PAYG and posted paid I presume is a contract or rolling contract where you pay in advance via direct debit.
I don’t think you can muck things up by selecting the wrong one; it simply won’t work so change the settings. I think you need to select prepaid as it’s a PAYG sim you have there. |

Pre Pay = pay as you go
Post Pay = pay monthly contract So you want to select O2 Prepaid. If you select the wrong one it will mess things up as you will have wrong settings for sms, internet etc. |
