I was surprised the Spice Girls never released a reunion DVD given how many nights at the o2 they got to play.

DVDs would be merited for all of Michael Jackson's Tours up to the Bad Tour. The Destiny, Triumph and Victory Tours with his brothers are all out there in bootleg form and all great. Official DVDs with pristine picture and sound would be awesome. Victory and Bad are imperatives. Word is that Bad Tour will finally get a DVD release next year to coincide with the album's 25th anniversary.
I was perplexed that they never put out a DVD of Prince's 21 nights in London. Those gigs were phenomenal - I was at two of them. Across 21 nights he played to something like 400,000 people, many of whom would have bought the DVD as a souvenir. Even if only an eighth of them bought it, that's already more copies than most music DVDs actually sell. Similarly, Prince's Hop Farm set was roundly celebrated as one of the greatest festival performances ever on UK soil. I've seen the fan-shot bootleg and can confirm that it was an exceptional gig. It was probably pro-shot because it was shown on big screens and because Prince has all his gigs filmed anyway for his archive. Don't know why he's so reluctant to release them. It'd also be nice if some of his older tours came out - the Nude Tour etc. |

Muse's last tour (well, most of them really) was apparently phenomenal, totally spectacular - I really want to see it in high quality.
I was lucky enough to see Green Day as part of a crowd of around 50,000 last year and it was by far the best gig I've ever been to, it was absolutely perfect and I've never known an atmosphere like it. I really, really want to try and recapture the magic of that, and it was actually filmed and there are rumours of a new DVD soon so it may actually happen. (By the way I'm aware that a CD of the last tour was released, but it's not what I'm after. )

Britney's Onyx and Circus tour. The onyx one was even broadcast on TV.
Gaga's Monster ball. That was also broadcast. Missed opportunity by not releasing this considering she's hot stuff and it would be a huge seller Rihanna's last girl on earth tour. Madonna's Virgin tour was released on VHS but a DVD would be nice. Same for her reinvention tour which despite having a documentary made about it, didn't even get a release of the concert it's self. Alicia Keys's Element of freedom tour. Florence and the machine's Lungs tour. Pussycat dolls's Doll domination tour. I found a bootlegged recording of a concert they did and it was very good. it would of needed some editing doing but i really enjoyed it. Eva cassidy's live at blue alley needs a transfer to dvd as well. |

[/QUOTE] Probably her most famous and controversial Blonde Ambition Tour has never been released on DVD either. It was what the film Truth or Dare was based on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EUpeMSiQ8s |

I would be alarmed to see the album remixed. It's just fine as it is. Or do you mean remastered?

To agree with previous posters...
Madonna - Blonde Ambition. IMHO the best concert tour she's ever done, yet never fully released; although I do believe that they did release it on laserdisc. (Appreciate we got snippets of it in Truth or Dare) Spice Girls - The Reunion And a couple of my own... Wham - The Final, at Wembley Whitney Houston various concert tours in the 80's and early 90's when she was on fire! |

The Spice Girls reunion not making it to DVD was a huge shock for me because it would have made a good amount of money and without a memento of the tour, which was great, the reunion seems pointless looking back.

it sold well, and was well received...but the way they ended the tour by cancelling the overseas legs made the public believe it was a flop, as did cancelling the DVD...not bothering to fly in to perform and promote their Children In Need single was another big error. |

Madonna Blond Ambition and Reinvention - although you can get bootlegs of three TV broadcasts of BA and the official DVD for RIT.
Also, it really pisses me off when so called Madonna fans spell Blond Ambition with a 'e'. |
