Please Help Me Fix My Tv! (philips)

Stupidly believing a DVD unlocking code would work on my Philips TV/DVD tv, i just tried it and now it's screwed it up good and proper.

The instuctions I carried out was this:
In TV mode on my Philips AD902W i entered the number '062596' and then pressed Menu.

As soon as I did this the TV changed into something else and now all my terrestrial channels have picture but no sound. My Sky Digital is on EXT 2 and still has sound and picture, but no matter what channel I'm on, in green letters on the top right of the screen it says 'SDM' --- this is inplace of any channel number or name, and unlike the numbers of channels, it does not disappear after a few seconds.
My TV also has a DVD built in and now when I press play (which turned it on) it does nothing!

PLEASE HELP ME SORT THIS OUT!

check this site out http://home.tiscali.nl/m.majoor/tv__...rvice_mode.htm seems your telly is similar.

seems you need to do "Press 0 6 2 5 9 6 and then the [i+] button (Note: the [i+] button is also known as [OSD] or [STATUS] button."

then look for the option " TV System" and set it back to "I" (its probably BG at teh moment"

I did a very similar thing to my mitsubishi some time ago and I can't remember for the life of me how I fixed it - wasn't good though!!!

the tv is in the service menu.as long as no settings were changed then putting the set into standby and back on again will take it out of the service menu and it should be fine.

You guys thank you so much - it's all back to normal.
I was a little wary of the Standby thing, especially since I had already pulled the plug out the moment I found out I couldn't set it back myself - but all is good again
