The best text to speech voice Ive ever found
is here ivona http://www.ivona.com/index.php the voice ..... amy .... wow ! amazing for a computor voice. I wish I could go to comp world or somewhere and buy it on a cd disc and load in the software. I think you can get it for a one week trial you 'd think there would be an online text to voice service somewhere with a box you could post in huge chunks of text and the comp would read it to you |

the Kindle 3 has a good text to speech feature...
a male and female voice american accents of course... but they are still good voices and will read any text you put in there. Good idea is to check out the demo on U tube before you go to buy . |

that link just leads to a white
page with a blue icon in the middle. You d think there'd be a good text to speech service on line, but the ones Ive found give maybe cut and paste 1000 characters per go I mean .. big deal... about one paragraph ! |

Its such a basic thing, getting the computor to speak
any text on line, articles, e mail, text you paste in, but where is this available ? You d think by now it would be a basic on every computor, highlight the text, hit key s for speak, then sit back and listen. |
