While I'm feeling let down, I think it's too early to say. This event is for the iPhone; who to say there isn't something else waiting around the corner...

engadget blog is entertaining. They're clearly not fanboys and having sly digs at the rapturous audience applauding any old thing.

Now 'world phone' - is that the same as 'tri-band'/'quad band'? One of those 'features' that most phones have had for a while but Apple have never thought important....or is it something else?

The 4S isn't even realistic competition for the Nexus Prime or any of the new Android devices imo, I'd at least like to see Apple put up some kind of fight...:yawn:

how long does the event last? the iphone 5 would take up sometime in explaining so if they are going to pull the one more thing trick i dobut they will allow their audience to wait too long??

My husband has just said that they are launching it in white immediately - IMO this could be their only saving grace as i hate the design of the iphone 4 with a passion...it's such a blokes phone. Do we know if this is true or if my hubbie is just making it up ?

That does not make much sense considering spec wise the iphone 5 will most likely be outdated anyway when it does arrive.

I'm getting one then. That's the biggest issue for me with iP4 (obviously I'll wait until after launch this year!)
