i Honestly. Honestly. Couldn't care less what phone you buy. I just posted the article because i thought it would be interesting for other forum members. Go and spend 500 quid on a new phone. That'll sure show me.

like i said I'm just posting an opinion piece because i thought people might find it interesting. I'm not sure who you think you telling me to run along now but i don't think it's called for. Even if I'm the king of Apple hate i don't think it's worth insulting someone. It's only a phone.

i'm inclined to agree with a lot of it. the no memory card slot really is a kick to the nuts. it means you can't spend a tenner on a 16GB sd card when your storage requirements increase, but have to spend and extra hundred quid when you buy the phone.”

...and there are, of course, valid ethical reasons to consider too:

Inside Foxconn's suicide factory

So far, at least 16 people have jumped from high buildings at the factory so far this year, with 12 deaths. A further 20 people were stopped by the company before they could attempt to kill themselves.

People who buy Apple products don't really care about it shortcomings. Having one is a fashion statement.

In the long term Apple may become the victim of its own success. Every man and his dog have one so its really not an exclusive product as it once was. Maybe one day the public will wake up and smell the coffee and realise its no longer trendy to have an iPhone. Much like its no longer trendy to buy duffel coats.

That's a really funny article. Obviously written as satire on the Internet fanboy wars

1. Its a fashion accessory not really a phone

2. People wont shut up about it.

3. No matter how much its advertised I still don't want one

4. Even though people have problems with Blackberry's I'd rather stick with my Curve as its a phone that has limited features and isn't as flash and does what I want it to do which is call, text, facebook, twitter and whatsapp

5. Five of my friends sold their iPhone's and either got a HTC or BB cos they were sick of the wank signal and they break too easily.

With all due respect your first point is false, unless I've imagined all those calls and texts I've made since getting my iPhone?

It's a good job we have lots of choice in the mobile phone market isn't it?

Reasons not to buy food:

1). The corporations that sell it are greedy tossers.
2). It's bad for you. All of it.
3). Farmers are exploited.
4). It makes you fat.
5). People only eat food to look trendy.
6). Stephen Fry likes it.
7). Stephen Fry's name contains a word that is to do with cooking food.
8). You can survive on just water.
9). People never shut up about food.
10). Very expensive for what it is.

Of course you were. The Desire HD wasn't even out yet a year ago - let along a few years ago.
