EASTENDERS chiefs have hired a Holby City producer to boost the soap after criticism of poor plots.

Sharon Hughff will take over the day-to-day running of the show including casting, scripts and production.

She will be deputy to executive producer Louise Berridge.

Why deputy. Let her take over LBs job

I don't watch Holby, but the plots for it's sister prog Casualty are as crap as EE's, so I am not sure this appointment will bring much of an improvement.

The plots in Holby are rubbish too

- Maybe she's taking over from LB when her contract runs to its end.
