Rihanna just confirmed on Facebook that this is the album title!

Thoughts?

Sounds like 'People gon' talk whether you doin' bad or good'...It's a bit naff as a title, but I'll wait for the cover art before I judge...

I want to hear another few songs before I can judge. Talk That Talk sounds like a continuation from the Loud era with some Rated R/Good Girl Gone Bad attitude in the mix, which if it is like that then I'm all for it. Sound-wise I don't know what to expect. We Found Love is a song I'm still struggling to connect with after 20 odd plays, to me it's What's My Name if Calvin Harris produced it. Maybe my dislike lies more with his involvement, but hey ho.

I thought it said Take That talk at first lol.

Glad it's got a title. Not what I was expecting. Kinda different because it doesn't sound like an album title to me. Can't wait for it.

Why is she releasing albums so often? Does she even write her own music?

No and that's primarily the reason because it's so easy for her to release albums like this.

I like that title. It's just a shame she feels the need to release albums every year.

Just because someone releases albums regularly it doesnt mean they dont write the songs, lets face it, how long does it really take to write 10-14 songs? Even though im aware that Rihanna doesnt.

It takes a lot of time to write an album full of songs, let alone produce the music (be it instruments or computer) edit them to perfection, decide on a final draft then finally record the songs... which is why most artists only release an album every few years.

That's so cheesy!

I still don't like We Found Love, so I hope the other material is stronger.

I find it so stupid she is releasing another album literally a year after the Great album LOUD which still has potential and going strong. I just find it annoying, imo the record company like to milk RiRi cause she can sell.

But i giver her credit cause all her albums have been great

Depends how much effort and dedication is put into it. If it's a case of purely wanting to get the music released as quickly as possible - especially when written by other people - then it's doubtful much effort went into it. Most likely a case of "that'll do"

Know what you mean. Really feel this one could be one album too many for her. There's nothing justifying the release of a new album that soon when Loud is still riding strong. And quite frankly I'm starting to get off her slightly now. Up to Loud her evolution and how she was building her identity as an artist was interesting to watch, plus, she had the tunes to back it up. Loud had the tunes but she became even more of a product and with the release of this new album, it's all about cashing in to me...As for the title itself, it's quite Tongue-In-Cheek and is slightly more imaginative than Loud, which was very naff as an album title I thought she was interesting to watch, so let's see if the music will live up to the name and will surprise us with an album that will walk the walk rather than keeping to talk it...

Hmm...I don't like it. I'd feel a bit embarassed saying to someone "Oh have you heard Rihanna's new album Talk That Talk?" It's a little cheesy as she's obviously trying to be all bad girl with attitude thing...

Shes been releasing a new album every year for a while now, even if it the 3rd did have a re-release. Rihamna still brings it everytime, no question, her albums sell really well for pop/rnb albums and i see no harm in not breaking the trend. If we found love is anything to go by, it's going to be another smash album. I live on a student street and when I walk down it I hear it play at like 3/4 times from different houses. Everytime, it's going to be huge.

Ugh... Awful title. Nothing this woman ever does is remotely iconic.
