How far does a Mifi signal travel?
What's the maximum distance a Mifi signal will travel from the device?
I've just got one and want to check if any neighbours are in range of it. I only have one neighbour whose signal I can receive, but that is a sky BB signal so I assume it is stronger than a Mifi signal? |

They're designed to have a small radius. They are personal wifi hotspots and battery powered. A wireless home router is supposed to have long-range signal

I'm mainly using the mifi so that I can connect my tablet as well to the net so am not too worried about having a wide radius. Cheers for the info. |

The router will have a stronger signal than the mifi. I can get signal from router a good 5 mins walk down the street from my house. Where as I struggle to get mifi signal 10ft from the van my mifi is usually situated in.

My Sky netgear signal don't even make it to the garden or down stares garage. Iam thinking of replacing it. |
