Monkseal's Week 1, Part 2 is up. Yay!

http://monkseal.wordpress.com/2011/1...t-2/#more-4664

Warning: Don't read it at work if laughing out loud might be embarrassing, or whilst drinking due to choking hazard.
Man I was reading that in public and still had to cackle a couple of times.

Flavia's latest blog about her dancing training with Russell.

http://www.realbuzz.com/blogs/u/Flav...on-the-ground/
I REALLY hope that we get to see the footage of her and Russell sinking in the quicksand on either ITT, or their VT on Saturday, lol

I found it very sweet that Jimi and her are still good friends and see each other occasionally. Thats one of the thing that I love about scd, the fact that at the end of the day you win a friend for life. I love her Mistry Packed lunches(looks delicious and healthy).

Lol, I think they are much more than good friends They've been together for months and recently got a new house together.

The packed lunches look fab, but probably way too heathy for me!

Mostly from twitter All of the pros except for Vincent tweet pretty regularly, plus there are a lot of SCD fans from DS who also use Twitter and post their blogs there.

Thanks but I dont like reading her comments. I feel like she is too biased and doesnt give enough constructive criticism. Some of her comments seem bitchy. Thats my opinion. All other blogs are excellent.
I cant wait to read other blogs about tonight show.

Camilla's score card is even more impenetrable than the judges' tonight .

Looking forward to Nicole's - she seems more balanced .

Camilla has completely lost the plot. Oh wait, that would imply she ever had it...

I checked through Camilla's comments and scores after reading this and although I agree it's light on constructive criticism I can't find anything that seems biased or bitchy Maybe you could elaborate on those points for my benefit?

As for her scores (mentioned in fridegsoup's post), for the most part they're very similar to the judges average - apart from her marking Chelsea and Holly slightly lower than the other judges and Anita 2 pts lower, which in her case I thought was quite correct

I thought Camilla gave a perfectly fair assessment of what she saw. It certainly didn't come across bitchy or biased to me. I didn't feel her scores were particularly over the place either. I enjoy reading all the professionals blogs. It's always interesting to see what their take on things is.

I don't think Camilla's blog is at all bitchy (if anything it is quite generous). I don't necessarily agree with all her scoring but don't have huge issues with anything she says either. It is nice to get a perspective from a professional. Would perhaps like the comments to be less generalised though.

I love Nicole's blog. It is great how she pitches her technical explanations so that they focus on the basics, such as the dragging of heels that you would expect to see in the feather step (incidentally, I think doing the foxtrot is a big ask of the celeb doing their first ballroom dance and I would never have been able to manage it, which might explain some of the faffing about). She does make me feel a bit guilty about laughing at Anton and Nancy's routine though although it wasn't meant unpleasantly (I like Nancy) but I do agree with her about Anton's choreography.

Hadn't read Hayley's blog before. Again another perspective. I bet she's looking forward to Broadway week.

I personally love Nicoles comments about Flav and Russell and I totally agree with her, and hope they continue as they are ....He is loving the show and you can tell, so while he might not be the best, I find him much more enjoyable to watch than most or all of the others. Her comments for them all I would pretty much agree with.
