I respect people's opinion but i wouldn't put those songs in the same league as Britney and Madonna as Pure pop at all

But hey, gotta love a debate.

Pop includes many sub-genres, so there is space for the likes of Madonna and Britney and also for acts like JLS JLS used to do urban pop, but now they are pretty much the definition of a bubblegum pop group imo.Everything they release is pop.

You didn't sound ignorant.Pop is a very big genre, so there are a lot of debates on who is actually pop and who's not

Yeah, I know what you mean. I might not consider JLS as pure pop artists, because they have RnB influences in some of their songs.

Although, to be fair, both Madonna and Britney have also sang on RnB/hip hop beats before (for example 4 Minutes and I'm a Slave 4 U).
