She hasn't even promoted this current single but it is already no.1 on Itunes in several countries around the world and top 5 in the US.”
1)I don't get the "May" point. But she was touring and her era is over.Name one pop artist that promotes heavily after the 4th single??Most people don't even have a 5th single, let alone promote it.She had all that during the beginning of her era and that's how it goes for everyone.Nobody gets all that promo for a 5th single and again, she was TOURING.

“Kylie Minogue was one of the biggest POP stars in the world during her hey day and she never had a no.1 US album”
But Kylie never made it in the US.She wasn't even promoted there and her albums never sold bar 3-4 exceptions. She was never launched as a US act.Rihanna is not the same case.

“Anyway please answer the question what is the big deal about having a US no.1 album? You mention it being the biggest music market however there are loads of US artists who have had no.1 US albums and they have still not sold as much as Rihanna. That being said a US no.1 album means nothing in the long run when you can't even go platinum at the end of the album era.”
A No.1 is not that much of a big deal and that's why I don't understand why you're making excuses (with all due respect...)
