That would make more sense to me. It'd probably down to her management not on top of the situation either. then it's a different a problem ad that's for her to fix, I'd feel. Great remix btw!!!

This period is an interesting one for me. I love CIM and Breathe and When the Wild Roses Grow with Nick Cave. It was interesting to see a different side from her and the potential in her music. And after reading in wikipedia she first collaborated with St Etienne for her self-titled album, I can't help thinking she could have come up with some real great stuff. Don't think it was the wrong sound for her in the self-titled album but it seems inconsistent from a track to another. As for IP, I didn't understand it. Got what she tried to do but soundwise, it was a bit difficult...

we are not going to agree on this one i`m afraid. i was being general in the people i was describing until your last post and i regret the personal nature of my last post. it`s just frustrating that people still see kylie as some sort of cut price madonna. the article heavily itself hints that she should follow a blueprint that is tried and tested by madonna. the clue is in the title of the article.

i like kylie for very different reasons to the reasons i like madonna. other people can separate the two artists also, which is refreshing to read. i would not dismiss madonna`s obvious influence on kylie. however, i do see kylie in her own right as an artist and i really hope that she is able to reconnect with her audience her way.

I sensed a bit of frustration indeed in your post and I can understand that. She always seemed to be an easy target for some reason. I've never been a real fan and I just think on both sides there's too much fuss about her when there's nothing complex about her. Still doesn't meant I'm not rating her because she's earned the rights to be the icon she is for many. We're definitely reading the article from two different perspectives so I suppose in that respect we'll never agree indeed
