Den "Bloodhound Face" Watts set up Phil "Beetroot head" Mitchell so that he was caught by the Police, in the warehouse, with a gun in his hand, surrounded by £25 grand and with the security guard as a witness.
Phil has escaped from custody and been on the run ever since (sporting the dirtiest arm sling anyones ever seen).

Now - Phil Mitchell couldnt look more guilty than someone standing in front of a roomful of coppers with a sign round his neck saying, "I dun the deed, guv, lock me up"......... so how on EARTH can Phil Mitchell possibly be touted by the EE producers as returning to the Square in the Spring ???

What are they going to have him doing, running his empire from underneath Arthur's charred bench??

I cant see any way of bringing this character back ... does anyone have any ideas?

I'm as lost as you are. We've had people on here trying to come up with ways, but no one can find anything. Part of me thinks the EE producers MUST have known what they were doing when they wrote his exit, knowing he was likely to come back and figuring out a possible return beforehand, but I just don't know now, it really does seem like they didn't even consider his return, just how he left!

or it could be like crossroads - phil could wake up sitting at a supermarket checkout, saying "d'you want cashback, love?" and telling his colleagues "ive just had the strangest dream - i was somewhere really beautiful - it was The Arches and i owned it - i had all these glitzy clothes!" !!!!

maybe it is something to do with this bomb as I'm convinced Andy is behind it somehow maybe to kill Sam for the money as he is her husband now.
