I love DAVID ESSEX as Eddie Moon and i dont care what anyone thinks Thread!
Realy sick of seeing the same people moaning about the Moons on Eastenders every 5 seconds!
Theyre fine! I honestly dont see the fuss, weve had worse characters than these before, but someone started a bandwagon and everyone has decided its the 'in' wagon to be on and its just got stupid! The two sons i can take or leave Eddie Moon (David Essex) however is intriguing! Hes fantastic, the character is wonderful i just do not get the hatred! |

Eddie has been a great addition to the show and I'll be sorry to see him go. Loving Michael and don't mind Anthony and Tyler.

i have enjoyed him as eddie moon.He has had a lot to do in the last 6 months and am looking forward to tonight.
Eddie has a lot of mystery just like michael but he has always tried to do best by his family, even if it always isn't right. He has great chemistry with the boys though i thought he was tough on anthony a lot. going to see him in his musical in 2 weeks

I felt David let me down a little bit, with his scenes at the hospital, the other week (at least he was better than the plank of wood playing Anthony though) but apart from that I think he's been value for money. Shame he's off.

Another one here who has enjoyed watching David Essex as Eddie (though not approving of everything he's done - naughty Eddie!). I thought he started off strongly, and there were some heavy demands on him and his family members due to his limited availability, and that showed a little in the hospital scenes. However, tonight's episode looks great and I'll be sorry to see him leave. There aren't enough patriarch figures in the show, and in the beginning, he showed signs of being an excellent one.
I think the resentment has been because the Moons have been in so many scenes over the summer, which they've had to be to fit the storyline in before David Essex left. I think things will calm down a little on the Moon front now and they will probably have less exposure for a while. I don't feel strongly either way about the two younger Moons, and of course am loving Michael. |
