Question for kindle users who read newspapers on it

Is it the whole of the entire newspaper that is on the kindle version of for example the telegraph? Every single Page exactly the same as the paper issue?

Kindle's version of The Guardian is a (massively) cut down form of the paper and not worth the effort, even though it's cheaper.
Better to use the Guardian website instead for free.

In the periodicals I've seen no, they're not exactly like their paper versions.

If this is for work, download the Kindle app and spend £10 on a monthly sub to something so you can check it out properly and do your research if you're still looking at making your own kindle edition. It'll be worth it.

The web browser will display the page "similar to" your home computer, except:

1. The screen shape is 4:3 portrait mode, instead of landscape mode like a PC (ie PC monitor turned on side).

2. Pictures are monochrome. No colour e-ink on current models.

3. It's best to access the mobile versions of websites - which load quicker - either directly, or via the Kinstant webiste which works it out for you.

4. The print is usually too small to read comfortably, so there's an "article mode", athough you can also zoom into the page ........

5. It's the online edition, which isn;t exactly the same as the printed edition!

6. M Guardian - mentioned above - is optimised for mobile phones, but you can always goto the "standard" webpage, although that takes longer to load.

I think we're talking Kindle edition subscriptions (like http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Guardian...rd_i=341691031) as opposed to the mobile web browser versions.

The Telegraph has no pictures but the whole text.

I just subscribe via Calibre and they download whilst I am having breakfast ~ it doesn't bother me that they are not the same as the printed versions.

I have Telegraph/Observer/Independant and of course Dilbert. don't have the Times as it costs money.
