She is definitely my new favourite singer
And to the people who say not another cover! She does do originals like she wrote and I think composed Without A Word and most of the songs on her album are unknown to me so I guess they're originals

Her album is out on 7th November which I'm definitly buying and really hope will do well (Strictly or X Factor should ask her to perform really)

I was hoping Without a word would be her next single.

Love her to bits but as amazing she does these covers, she isn't doing herself any favors. She needs a hit on her hands to make people wanna buy the album.

I think the album will sell very respectably without a big hit TBH. I don't think anyone is expecting Adele-like sales so no real massive expectations to try and meet. I've certainly got mine on pre-order.

Love the new video and what I really love about Birdy (apart from that simply amazing voice and very impressive piano playing) is she's not trying to look older than she is (even though i still can't quite believe a 15 year can sing like she does, seemingly effortlessly).

PS Encouragingly, I now think Without A Word is my favourite song - and she wrote that. An awesome talent.

PPS She's also getting some great promo all over the World with Vampire Diaries - her Skinny Love cover featured in the last series and her Shelter cover features in the new series to be aired in the UK starting next week (it's in episode 3).

Yeah, i noticed shelter on Vampire diaries which i watched this weekend. Her music fits that show at the perfect moments.
