Really love it! Good song, with and even better video, would have NEVER expected that! Really clever, hope it is a hit, it will be if she goes on X Factor!

It’s great.I liked it.Now this is the Beyonce that I actually like.It reminded me of the good ol’ days of ‘Get Me Bodied’, ‘Deja Vu’ and ‘Naughty Girl’ when I used to love her.But she’ll most probably say/do something that’s going to turn me off again soon Anyway, I liked the video, it was very creative and even though the budget was obviously low, she still worked it It even made that song grow on me a little bit (‘Start Over’ remains my favorite, though)

Not seeing any Gaga elements, either.

I kind of half like the video, half don't. The abstract, bright retro shots look great...but wasn't a fan of the non-studio scenes. Don't think they harmonised well.

Looked like two videos thrown together with completely different styles. Might have worked better if they went for a behind-the-scenes look, with Beyonce in these highly stylised shoots and then showing all the dancing etc. on set around?

Don't think the focus effect worked either. WDYLM did it better.

That video is HOT! I love it so much, the dancing, the costumes, the colours everything! Still see an element of Green Light and Deja Vu here and there. I love her with that short hair she had in the silver dress - she really suits that! Easily my favorite video of this era so far.

She looks better with dark hair. it reminds me of the green light video. The video is good and she looks really great although the video looks like a fitness dvd.

I love the video

It was like countdown down the different decades of music. I loved the casual looks, simple but effective. Really different to what she has ever done.

Great video and she looks HOT

It's a good video. I can't say I'm as blown away by it as some seem... but yeah it's a good video. I've gone off the song a little (overplayed it!) and much prefer End of Time but I hope it does well

And Beyonce strikes again!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=3HaWxhbhH4c

TOTAL rip-off.There is nothing that she didn't copy.NOTHING!!Isn't this girl clever enough to at least mix the stolen elements with something esle to make the video look original??Disappointed in her AGAIN, because I actually loved the video, as I said in my original post.

Well, the first part is a complete rip-off. Not sure about the dancing clips though, they seem a bit contrived. But I definitely agree with that first clip.

I think this whole video was intended to be a tribute to past music and fashion though. I doubt anyone is saying "Oh Lord, she ripped off Audrey Hepburn!", the fact that everyone does aside.

Yes, but the girl she copied that clip from is not a well known icon like Audrey Heburn.Anyway...

It's meant to be a reference to this though

You're not a stupid poster so I'm surprised that you would not be able to see the difference between copying something and referencing it. The whole video is made up of a lot of different references to different music icons from the 60s-80s. If you're gonna complain about copying then you've missed the entire point of the video... Maybe this article will clarify things:

I get where you're coming from. The Audrey Hepburn scenes were a tribute. She was CHANNELING Audrey Hepburn. The scenes that the 30-second clip I posted showcase are just TOO much imo.For Audrey she did a great job at capturing some of the elements of her presence and her style, but with Anne Teresa she was just taking the exact same thing she did without changing it up.It could have been great to see her taking what Anne Teresa did and incorporate it to the video and make it creative, but her "homage" was just a re-creation.If that's her way, then it's cool, but I personally didn't like the fact that she took the scenes and completely copied them to make her whole video.I don't think she's going to be sued for plagiarism obviously (of course not ) and I'm not implying that she literally STOLE the choreography, but she didn't add any BEYONCE to it (do you know what I'm saying?).

And of course she should have found a way to credit Anne Teresa because she is not that famous regardless of her awards.Beyonce has the power to give her some shine

Anyway, the video is still her best from this new era imo and it didn't get boring at the 2nd play which is a good sign. It's a good video, but I think her homage is rather clumsy

But the Westside Story part is 'copied', the Audrey Hepburn part is 'copied', the Diana Ross part is 'copied', the 'Funny Girl' parts are all 'copied'... But if you have a problem with that, you're missing the point... Oh, I can't be bothered, it's fundamental to the actual reason the video is good rather than bad. If you don't like it, then you don't like it.

But I already said I like the video.Anyway, I'll try to explain what I'm talking about. For every other icon that she paid homage to she took ELEMENTS.She took their look and their overall message and carried it well. When it comes to Anne Teresa, she copied a choreo and her EXACT moves. That's what I didn't like. She didn't copy any of the other ladies, she channeled them, but she still looked like herself. When it comes to Anne Teresa, I found her tribute to be sloppy and unoriginal and while I disagree with the overall reaction on YouTube, I still think that she could at least be more creative with it.I was disappointed with her approach to this specific part of the video, because it felt bland to me.That's all...
