Not a great big one but as she will be back filmimng in January I don't suppose she needs it.

Will she want to return after having her baby?
Most new mothers would prefer to spend the first year of their childs life, with them!!!

But not all of them. Sally from Corrie only had a few weeks off last year to have her baby. Of course, she is a rather different kettle of fish from Jessie....

(And although I doubt this applies to Jessie, many mothers don't have the choice, because they can't afford to stay off work for that long.)

When Sally Whittacker (Sp?) from Corrie had her first baby in 1994 though (Which was written into the script, the result being Sophie on the show), she was off it for quite a while...although they didn't bother writing her out LOL. Sally Webster was just "at home" for about six months.

Well apparently Kat comes back again before Xmas. She was back on set after her baby trouble, she returns again and is involved in scenes with Little Mo in November.

Hayley on Corrie was one who went back really quickly after her baby was born.

I really wish Kat would go back with Ant'n'knee, I thought they were more interesting together.

IN the long run Kat and Anthony wouldnt' have worked as he'd have tried his hardest to change her, she'd refuse and they would have split up, just like they did. Alfie is now trying to do the same now by being suspicious of her everytime she looks at another bloke, she's no diferent to the girl he fell for last year and thats what prompts Kat to leave this week. But as I say, she is coming back in a few weeks time as she's involved in scenes with Little Mo. Mite be just an episode or two and then she be gone again.

There was nothing at all interesting about Antnee, not even when he was with Kat. I'm just glad he's gone!

I just think somehow that Alfie and Kat worked much better as best mates, like a really close brother and sister thing, I find them boring as an item, I really don't know why.

Its definitely made life more complicated for them both, they were great together as best mates, but as always its a bit hit and miss when great mates become lovers and then hubby and wife. I think in the long term though Kat and Alfie will be back together, although I would hope in different surroundings and not in the Vic, I think we need things shaken up at the Vic.
