Can I use an american iphone in the UK?
I will be in the States in November this year, and would love to buy an iphone 4S over there (considerably cheaper than here from what I've seen!)
Question is = provided i buy it from apple (i.e. unlocked) will it be usable over here (the UK) on the orange network? Thanks Ste P.S. I know i may have to pay import tax, but still think it would be a cheaper option - am looking at the 32GB version... |

Unlocked 4S available in the States from Nov - http://store.apple.com/us/browse/hom...co=MjU5MTk4NzE
Guess it depends if your visit coincides with the release date

Even if you bought the unlocked 16GB version in the USA it would cost £417, depends if you want to save £82 or not.
