Is it worth upgrading to an iPod Touch 64GB 4gen?

I currently have an iPod Touch 32GB 2nd gen but I am now thinking about upgrading to an iPod Touch 64GB 4th gen.

I mainaly use my iPod Touch to listen to music and watch films and Video.

Is it worth me upgrading my iPod Touch 32GB 2nd gen and buying the iPod Touch 64GB 4th gen?

Also is the retina screen that the 4th gen iPod Touch uses that much better than the screen on my iPod Touch 32GB 2nd gen and will watching films and video look much better on the 4th gen iPod Touch than on my iPod Touch 2nd gen?

Also without using any of the preset EQ is there any diffrence in the quality of the sound when listening to music on the iPod Touch 4th gen compeared to the iPod Touch 2nd gen?

And were is the headphone socket located on the iPod Touch 4th gen?

And the best prices for an ipod Touch 64GB 4th gen That I can find are Tesco and Play.com.

If you mainly use it to listen to music and watch videos, then it all really comes down to storage space (primarily for the video), and display quality (for the video as well).

If you're running out of space, then it could make sense, but I suspect a 128GB 5th gen iPod touch may be released in the next few months.

The sound quality of them all is pretty much the same so no issue there. The headphone socket is in the same position as on the 2nd gen model.

The higher resolution screen is of course advantageous for video, but it all comes down to how much video you watch on it.

I'd hold out for now as the 5th gen models should be on their way soon, and if nothing else will bring down prices on the 4th gen models.
