Thanks Chris. I'll download them tonight or over the weekend.
megaupload has been ok but the downloads keep getting interrupted and I have to keep resuming them every 20 seconds or so Hopefully sendspace will be smoother ![]() |

Hello! I have reconverted and reuploaded all the videos to date. Because of people having issues with megaupload, I've uploaded them to sendspace as well. Hopefully one of the links should work for everyone... These ones have larger file sizes, but will have better image quality and no audio synching issues (there may be some pausing still - if you spot any, let me know as I can rectify them). I have also incorporated the corrections to part 3a - Faye no longer eats nonexistent toast and there's an extra Aaron-Maisy chat. There may be a few more corrections I've yet to do, but I'll try to get to them all eventually.
Sendspace part 1c has a lower audio/visual quality than the Megaupload one as I made a mistake converting it and made it too big to submit to Sendspace, so I just ran it through the compressor again so it would fit. At some point, I'll redo it properly, but for now, if you can, get the megaupload one. Sendspace links: Part 1a (Launch - Day 5) Part 1b (Days 6-8) Part 1c (Days 9-10) *slightly lower quality Part 2a (Days 11-16) Part 2b (Day 17 part one) Part 2c (Day 17 part two) Part 3a (Day 18) Part 3b (Days 19-20) Part 3c (Day 21) Part 4a (Days 22-23) Part 4b (Day 24) Megaupload links: Part 1a (Launch - Day 5) Part 1b (Days 6-8) Part 1c (Days 9-10) Part 2a (Days 11-16) Part 2b (Day 17 part one) Part 2c (Day 17 part two) Part 3a (Day 18) Part 3b (Days 19-20) Part 3c (Day 21) Part 4a (Days 22-23) Part 4b (Day 24) Cant wait for the rest

It can be fiddly to set up correctly, but I use jDownloader for downloading multiple files - with it, you can cue up multiple downloads to run in the background by just pasting the links in (or, if you integrate it with your browser, by selecting the links and right clicking). It handles interruptions and pauses seemlessly and stops any "too many downloads" restrictions.
I'll take a look at jdownloader, thanks. |

Sendspace: Launch - Day 5, Days 6-8, Days 9-10 *, Days 11-16, Day 17 one, Day 17 two, Day 18, Days 19-20, Day 21, Days 22-23, Day 24 Megaupload: Launch - Day 5, Days 6-8, Days 9-10, Days 11-16, Day 17 one, Day 17 two, Day 18, Days 19-20, Day 21, Days 22-23, Day 24 New! Big Brother UK 2011 Aaron and Faye - The Complete Videos Part 4c (Days 25-27) Day 26 was a tricky one. I ended up omitting all the toy task footage, as there's almost no interaction between Aaron & Faye, it's more to do with the Aaron-Jay turf war. However, there was one critical conversation in the middle of the task which there isn't a video for; it was only ever outlined in a Facebook news article. As I felt I couldn't leave that out, I've put the article in, illustrated with the accompanying photographs. I think this is the only article I'll have to use in this way, unless anyone can remember any more? Either way, let me know if you think there should be some toy task footage in, or if I can either improve the way the article's inserted, or if you think the article should just be left out entirely... Thanks chris
![]() I think the way you inserted the article worked really well, especially with the photos. It's unbelievable that they didn't include such an important convo in the highlights, or at the very least post a clip on facebook. |

I must say they way you dealt with the lack of video was brilliant.

I kind-of understand why it didn't make the highlights. Firstly, they had lots of good footage from the toy task to cover, and including this conversation would have changed the mood of, and broken the flow of the way that unfolded. They may have had plans to put in a snippet anyway, but then Mark dropped his bombshell, and they had to include that. Probably all their editors were tied up that day...

I have to echo the thanks to chris_sw for pulling the clips together. I haven't had time to sit and watch them all yet, but I'm converting and loading them onto my iPhone for a future marathon.
I have watched bits and pieces - I really love the way the bridge conversation is edited together on 4c, it's tricky sometimes to track the continuity with web clips and highlights clips, and you've done a great job of pulling it together in one place! Just for kicks, I've been trying to give each segment a memorable title on my phone so I can find things more easily if I want to go back in the future. This is what I have so far, feel free to borrow: 1A: Are Your Toes Always Green? 1B: A Shape-Based Game 1C: Kissing and Dissing 2A: I'm Keeping It! 2B: There Were Three In the Bed... 2C: EastEnders 3A: How On Earth Was I Supposed To Know? 3B: Inappropriate Joke, Aaron 3C: It Was Supposed To Be You 4A: "Hugs" 4B: And That's That 4C: The Curse of Kissing Aaron (Technically the EastEnders quote is in 2B, but 2C is all the dramatic fallout!) Looking forward to more.

Chris,
Can I add my thanks for the wonderful work you have done with the Aaron and Fay highlights. As I am overseas there is so much I missed the first time around as I didn't have access to Facebook. I am absolutely loving watching them all. ![]() ![]()

Am I the only one not watching any of the clips yet?
Downloaded them all and in a very safe place on my laptop but waiting until I have everything and then gonna have a mammoth Aaron & Faye session over xmas (whether all the clips are done or not). Something to look forward to as I find xmas telly normally so crappy. Although I think we have a Downton xmas special to look forward to this year. |

Hi Chris,The 'Really?' scene is in the wrong place. The clue is Aaron's darker beard and Jay being in the bedroon in the sausage suit. The day should start with the scene in the lounge where Faye is telling Aaron he's odd and he talks about his marriage. I think the really scene comes after the 'guess who' game Aaron and Faye play in the Bedroom later on. |

chris - I'm not sure if you saw my second post about part 3c?
Faye's chat in the garden with Maisy should come before her "cosy chat" with Aaron. I have double checked the HLs from that night and this seems to be the correct order

It would be ironic if his job were to be made harder due to a flood of criticisms of the edit

Not noticed some of these threads before. Quite scary how obsessed some are with the contestants of a reality show that is now over. I will leave you all to it.

Just a thought - It's fine (if a tad anal) to highlight these possible errors of continuity, but there is a potential problem in that one cannot be 100% certain that what was shown in the H/L's was always "in the right order" itself, and the original material may have been edited "out of sequence" for story purposes.
Chris_sw is doing sterling work assembling and uploading all the footage in what I'm sure must be a very time consuming process. It would be ironic if his job were to be made harder due to a flood of criticisms of the edit ![]() None of my posts suggesting changes have been intended as nit picking, critisism or meant to be "anal" in any way. Everyone on here appreciates the clips being presented and especially so, in my case, given the extra work making changes I/we suggest. We have ALL made that pretty clear I think ![]() I take your point however that we cannot be 100% sure of the order given the lack of LF but watching it again, it would make more sense for her to talk to Maisy first given she is unsure of Aaron's intentions and then to Aaron himself for re-assurance. If chris_sw doesn't want to or hasn't time to make changes to the work already completed then that's no problem tbh. |

The clip with Faye saying to Maisy that Aaron had blatantly voted for both of them, showed how strongly paranoia influenced so much in that house. I wonder how long (if even at all) after that conversation if they were aware to how wrong they had been? Aaron's "Romeo & Juliet" comment to Faye must have told her she had it wrong but the fact they had a clear the air chat on the stairs the following day then maybe not? I wonder if either Faye or Maisy asked him directly? Would be interesting to know if they did?
On another issue, anyone know what a "groovy chick hook .......22" is? Now I'm not sure if I heard Faye right but it was something like that?
