I suspect this is what she told Jemma before, I would imagine Jem would wish to caution her against "falling" too far and too fast, an obvious and eminently sensible sentiment.
Faye will I'm sure have reassured her that "it's okay, I'm not
in love with him" in the sense of having lost all reason and rationality over 'a boy'
Anton will have taken the most literal and absolute interpretation of this comment as meaning that Faye has no interest in or affection for Aaron whatsoever (I get the strong feeling that the subtleties of emotion and human relationships are something that Anton has little understanding or experience of!).
To Anton, this is dynamite, the "smoking gun" that he believes he can use to drive a wedge between and destabilise them, and use to influence the gullible and/or stupid (big shout out to Louise!

) that Faye/Aaron are insincere and false and should therefore be nominated on that basis.
Given the incompetent and ineffectual way Anton has gone about his 'villainy', I imagine his "outing" of this conversation will be met by most HMs with limited interest.
Point is, Aaron wouldn't expect Faye to be "in love" with him after such a short time, he'd consider it somewhat irrational and absurd, in fact he'd probably be more cross with her if she
did say it - "You can't be 'in love' with me that's silly. We've only known each other for a few weeks" being a likely response.
So Anton rushing to "bring all of that bad news to [his] door" as the song goes, is unlikely to have the seismic effect Anton thinks it will!
