Ooh new thread!

I also just re-watched and realised that Ste wasn't wearing pyjamas, he was wearing a closed dressing gown. Which is good enough.

I was, however, thinking of the brown coat he wore when Noel punched Brendan, which looks nothing like pyjamas so I don't know what my head was thinking.

It's saddening because Ste in pyjamas is an adorable image.

He'd have Thomas the Tank Engine jimjams. Or Carebears.

Or old fashioned stripy ones.

Ha! I also rewatched and wondered if I had somehow missed the pyjamas but it was worth it for Brendan's sausage line/Kieron trying not to crack up.

Aw, I bet Ste has nice pyjamas. Silky ones. For the Winter innit.

What did he have on that time they subjected us to him and Noel in bed together?

ETA: Ste with Thomas the Tank pjs = my life MADE.

BIB: Noel's last week? When he reaches over for the phone? Ste's shirtless then.

Sleeping bag idea is ruined.

Oh I think I would prefer Ste in stripy pjs, a bit like the boy in the Snowman.

Too cute.

Why is there nothing on all week and then on a Saturday everything clashes?

I hate the way they do that.

He's shirtless?! Are you serious?!

Can we work in a Snowman reference in that awesome Christmas Carol spoof that they are certain to give us?

Ste could squeak 'Ahm walkin in the airrrrrrrrruh'

Yep. He's shirtless and then hugs Noel. Shirtless. While Noel is wearing a vest.

It makes me want to cry.

I just watched it.

Oh that completely passed my by the first time. I am appalled. I did not need to see Ste do that at all.

I like to think that Noel de-shirted him throughout the night, and Ste sneakily hugged him, then kneed him where it hurt for stripping him.

Since our sleeping bag idea has been cruelly snatched from us.

It was hideous, followed by Brendan all alone in bed

I wouldn't put it past Noel. He clearly wanted to stroke The Ste Chest, the filthy perve.

It cut away just as Ste kneed him, I bet.

Oh how annoying, I want shirtless Ste in bed with Brendan, not the vile one.

ETA: Aww, mojo, and Brendan was all sad and t-shirted.

It upsets me that we haven't gotten a start-of-the-episode montage with Brendan and Ste yet.

Well, there was the dream!Brendan one, but that wasn't good enough.

Well, who can blame him.

Yep. They didn't want to show us it, because they were painting them as a happy happy couple, but really, Ste didn't let Noel touch him.

So do I.

Rewatching makes me really miss them though, so now I'm all sad and missing them.

The Dream!Brendan montage was ruined by:

A) The reality after the dream
B) The huge dressing gown Brendan wore.

He's a sly one, that Ste. Hugging Noel as if he's in love, then kneeing him. You do't mess with Stephen.

But yeah, I would kill for a nice morning after scene with them now. I mean, we haven't got those since.... December/January! Every time since Gissa Kiss has been interrupted/followed by violence!

I would love another one of those too, actually. All nice and couplely and chatty and not fully dressed.

I'd be happy with a shouty argument, like beer throwing, or before they spotted Noel molesting adorable!Sean in the tub, or in the street after Deccy's arrival. Those scenes are about the most coupley things they've done, apart from shagging.

The argument before they found Noel and Sean is one of my favourite little moments ever.

They're so totally in character, and yet so.... old married couple. It was brilliant. And the proof to me that they can write them as a couple and be entertaining.

I wish that little argument lasted longer, actually.

Yeah, same, LMan.

I want more talking scenes. I mean, Brendan's told Ste a little bit, but not nearly enough.

I also need Ste to find out that Brendan told Declan he was gay. I need to see his face when he finds that out.

The argument they have in the street after Declan arrives is actually one of my favourite scenes from the whole storyline.

I've rewatched it more times than I can count.

Saying that, I've rewatched most stuff more times than I can count.

Oh I love both those scenes a crazy amount. I love the bit where Brendan says "I can't win Stephen! Either I'm a monster or I'm pretending to be nice cos I'm actually just a monster!"

And I adore adore his "I don't want you leaving like this!"

Oh it were a good little period, that. Ste at his sassy best. Brendan making progress. S'all good.

I am hoping Cheryl tells Ste that Brendan came out, maybe in a bid to try and prove his innocence. Like 'Yeah, he was angry with Rae but he came out, he was dealing with it..... ish.'

ETA: And the office scene! Where Brendan offers to leave. Aww.

You know Ste, if he thinks Brendan has come out the closet, murder isn't such a big deal anymore

Does Cheryl even know Brendan came out to Declan? I know Lynsey does, but did she tell Cheryl?

& LOL Mojo. Bless Ste. Relationships and boyfriends come before murder, that may or may not have been committed.

ETA: I can't think why Ste would even speak to her.

He's probably being a sassy little bastard. And she won't try persuade him of nothing.

It'll be some variation of her telling Ste to believe in Brendan and him saying no.

Does Cheryl even know Brendan came out to Declan? I know Lynsey does, but did she tell Cheryl?
She does. I think they mentioned it, briefly, in the episode where Brendan came back from the airport and Cheryl said how well Dec took it etc. Then Brendan got arrested in the same episode.
